Posted: 7/31/2005 12:20:38 AM | I do it for all kinds of reasons. Some are interesting and I would like to contact but can't for various restrictions, usually distance.
A couple have the most amazingly photogenic pictures and they change them periodically. A couple of fantasy girls. A couple have just the greatest smiles in the world and it lightens my day. A couple are always changing their profile descriptions with some incredibly funny stuff and I like to see what innovative things they've done once in a whie. Some make great posts and it's easier to find them and track their threads. And once added I tend to get lazy about removing anybody. | |

It actually gives you another 'tool' to see, if their mails (if they get in touch eventually) reflect truth they are saying or are just full of 'porkies'. It has already helped me to see through some 'game players' on this site.

I don’t really understand what the problem is.
We all posting our pictures to attract attention and meet new friends.
Why be upset, if somebody find you interesting and adds to their favorites?
For example – me. i’m new here, and don’t have that time to go through all profiles again looking for that smile or those eyes that caught my attention. Yes, i’m planning to contact girls in my favorites, probably when i’m here next time and have time to write something. i hope i get some response...;))
So, i think you can relax and enjoy your popularity. Or even better, try to contact those that you like the most, at least you are know for sure that they like you ...:))

The ones that really creep me out are those that have no pics in their profiles, have never messaged me, and have not posted in the forums either... which leads me to think they are here to collect pictures of women and just like to look at profiles. THOSE I don't like. The rest I don't mind. | |

Posted: 8/1/2005 11:38:28 AM | After reading this thread, i’ve started to pay attention and noticed that every profile has a line on the top “Appears on X members favorites lists”. And the most interesting thing is that for girls X can be 30-50-80-100…, for guys it is 0-5-10…
Dear girls, could you please explain, what do you think is the reason for that:
-you are very selective with your favorites
-too many of us (boys) over here, too many e-mails, no sense to spend time and look for somebody, if interested he will write by himself
-we are not of your type..;)))
-or may be it is something else not mentioned

If your on it and interested email me cause you know im interested already, if you don't want to be on it please please make it shorter by removing yourself. No offense taken, it's easier than a non-reply to my emailing you which is so often the case. | |
