| Why do women go nuts for guys on motorcycles?
Posted: 7/31/2005 8:31:07 AM | I grew up in a biker household. Had a Ducati 750 sitting in our living room and we decorated it at X-Mas since we didn't have the luxury of actually owning a tree or anything. lol.
I spent my youth on the back of motorcycles. I hate the ****in things with a passion. People who love them are free to do so but when I hear people rave about how grand it is to feel the wind in their hair and the sun on their face I cringe. Watch what happens when a semi 'freely' plasters you to its grill and see if you still love motorcycles after (assuming you live) | |

I guess everybody has something that "bugs" them and the motorcycle thing is it for me!
I am sure there are guys out there that cring wihen they see "teacher" in mine....to each his own right? | |

I`ve been to some of their parties, and I find it pretty amazing that you see these late 30`s mid 40`s chubby tattoo covered, bearded dudes with 20 year old girlfriends that are total hotties. I`ve thought it was the "bad boy" outlaw kind of thing.
Does`nt bother me though. They`re a pretty nice group and there`s never any trouble. :-) | |

Myself I grow up riding bikes with my dad and it is not that a man on a motorcycles makes me go nuts because I don't even get on one unless it is with my dad or one of his friends that he trust. Because I do love to ride just like I enjoy other things in life. | |

That said, I used to state that dating a man who enjoyed riding or owned a bike would be a plus, simply because it's something that I love. Shared interests and all that, you know. Now I just don't worry about it. I'll have one of my own again someday.
Having a bike doesn't make a guy more attractive, no more so than having a new car would. If I'm not interested in you, the bike isn't going to help. It's just that it's something that we would have in common, and if the attraction is already there, then hooray for me. | |

I never got on the back of one until age 30. Right after that, I almost went out and bought one. I restrained myself, but but definitely have enjoyed men who have them. (SPORT bikes.) Although the season is short up here, Maine is full of bikes for a reason; the weather and views are perfect! | |

I've ridden motorcycles for over 40 years but I can only take a guess. Would it be the excitement of speed on two wheels, wind in the hair, the implied danger in riding a motorcycle, something to tell their friends or to pi** off their parents?
Or maybe it's the Milwaukee vibrator effect on a female tush?

but my love for bikes is what keeps me going full throttle baby  hehe | |

I don't mind the occassional ride every now and again....but it's definitely not a prerequisite...in fact, I don't think I've ever actually *dated* a guy that owned a bike.... | |
