I love it when a man wraps his big strong arms around me and gives me a bear hug. I love the fact that men are different than women. At times, I wonder how both sexes live on the same planet without killing each other, but we do manage to keep each other on our toes.
My Dad made fishing and camping fun for us. When I was learning to ride a bike, he hung on to the bike for a bit, talking to me, then without me knowing it, he let go. Eurkea, I was peddaling by myself!

i got one.........

men can be single minded, wear blinkers and therefore find it much easier to focus 'entirely' on work and tend to be more successful, more easilly, therefore.

how's that then?

whilst of course.............. women are thinking and doing 'everything' else!!!

lol

Carribenking, you said....."I dont like men theyre my competitors"

You show your true colors at last, you see women as mere trophy's and this proves it

1) he 'should' be aware of other men.

2) i have done the trophy thing. i can assure you this is absolutely 'no' indication of such.

I like how men produce more heat while sleeping, so snuggling up to them on a cold winter's night keeps a girl warm.

I like how they smell.

I like how they understand that it's their job to kill bugs even when they are just as freaked out about them.

I like how they are completely different from women in so many ways.

SPARROWHAWK,

What an hell are you talking about?Did you get off the train before your stop?Better phone the trucker who delivered your bricks I believe quite a few are still on the trailer. And by the way the next time you go to a picnic don't forget your sandwiches.
Now why don't you sit back and let the ladies talk nice about us.They're doing a real good job.And I think guys we'd better start a thread of our own and let these ladies know how much we really appreciate them.
Thanks again ladies. You made my day.

They are great for moving and carrying groceries!!!

I am playing! Well....no I'm not...... but they are also good at:

1. making me feel "protected" when I am in their arms
2.relaxed when they let me fall asleep with my head on their chest
3.relieved when they learn exactly what lands my heart

Hugs to all of the decent guys out there, and to the best one of all....

My father is the most caring, loving, helpful, patient, respectful person I've ever known. I appreciate him so much, and the fact that my son gets to be with him almost every day is a true blessing. I love you Dad!

I think that at least for me, can't speak for the ther ladies, that we DO appreciate men because of our great relationships with our own dads. My dad was really one of the major men in my life, a huge influence. I loved him dearly, admired and respected him, he taught me much about life and just loved me all the way through me trying to learn things on my own.

I apprecite all my dad has taught me, however later than sooner.
I hope my boy's will at least learn the lessons I teach them, perhaps sooner than later.
And the cycle continues.

I still love the smell of my dad when I hug him. Keeps me in that place where I'll never leave.

I love being a dad to my children...so much I can't stand myself at times...just an overwhelming joy.

I love saying thank you to a lady who appreciates me.

Dad
When I think of my father. I still feel like the kid that put his dad's shoes on and walked around the house. That feeling, of how incredibly big your dads shoes are. Although I have been a dad for many years now. I still feel the same about my dad's shoes. My dad has big feet but, thats not why his shoes feel big. They feel big because, of the man who fills them.A man who has shown with his actions and words, what it atkes to be a dad a husband a man. Dad your shoes are so big! I hope to fill them one day. I've been blessed so far. I've had you dad to shoe me the way.

There was another male appreciation thread I believe around father's day. We all need to show and tell others more often of our appreciation, makes life a lot more pleasant.

We need to appreciate even more so here because it's on here I've witnessed way too much male bashing.
