DragonRider -- I read your profile, I sure wish you lived in Tennessee!!! You sound wonderful! When you are my age (53) it's hard to find someone older that is still able to keep up! It seems like a lot of the older guys just want to sit at home...I like to cuddle up and watch a DVD as well as anyone, but I like to go out dancing too. Camping is great and hiking is fun..I'm not ready to give any of that up yet. Of course, there are other activities they have a hard time keeping up with as well!

Well BombMom - I am originally from TN, portland, and still have a home there...

Camping, hiking, dancing all are fun, bowling, swimming, volleyball... and other things...

Thus far, I have had no issues in that OTHER activity either...

I couldnt imagine dating anyone around my age....anyone well into their 30's & over is definitely my choice, my last boyfriend was 41yrs...I never notice his grey hair till a friend pointed it out... I find older men extremely attractive

Very happy to see your post ltlwhip....I just turned 62 and have just come out of a 15 month relationship with a young woman (who turns 23 in June). Were it not for the fact that she is leaving for grad school in Michigan soon, we'd still be together. The sexual side of our relationship was WONDERFUL in all aspects. Both of us enjoyed the kinkier side of life and never came even close to reaching our limits (if you know what I mean). Age was never a factor in any way. Surprisingly, we did not raise any eyebrows on campus when we were together.....we were just another couple. I'm having a difficult time now finding someone to take her place.....but, I'm looking. Women in my age group do not seem to have the desire to experience what I enjoy so very much....thus, I'll continue to look. Even at my age, I am as strong and generally far more muscular than men 40 years my junior. I also have quite a jump on them experience wise as well.....thanks again ltlwhip for the vote of confidence for those of us who, through no fault of our own, were born too soon.......Doc

This is the on going debate....how is age explained....is it your birth date or your maturity....what if you are in your 50's and look like you are 40? Does that still make you older.....maybe if the one interested in you is 20....lol

Well, noticing that more and more men are becoming younger these days, I am speaking as an older woman...lol

Although on the surface, it would seem that dating younger gals might help a man hang on to his youth longer, in reality, older men need a woman that is closer to their own age to keep them happy, healthy, on their toes, emotionally, spirititually, and physically.

A May-December romance generally does not endure due to the numerous emotional and spiritual differences that can create problems sheerly due to a lack of maturity. Often overlooked, however, is aside from avoiding problems arising from those issues , the older woman is the best for an older man in physical terms; it is a scientific fact that as a woman gets older, she tends to need more and more and more attention to her deepest physical needs. Provided he is driven and motivated enough, this factor alone will obviously will extend his life.

Meeting this challenge, will keep a man in better condition, so when faced with the demands spread infront of him, he is more likely to be up for anything that requires him to be. As the saying goes, "'You don't use it...you lose it." lol

That being said, the unsatiable desires stirring inside of an older woman indeed are the best way to keep an older man happy emotionally, will lift not only his spirit (he he) but also keep him busy enough to ensure that a his "golden years" are, ooooh uyeeeaaaah, truly golden...
Well, if not.......what a way to go!!!

Is funny that you go for the first date to a cemetery. When I was young I've been a lot to cemetery with my boyfriend...they found me strange. But why?We live en will die...Ha to be a conection...
But...I never had a older man...never.
I've been 13 years married with a duch man and now I think that a older man can be more mature...but I don't know...
I live now in Holland...
Bye
