I have to agree with the name thing .... if i see a guy whos nic has anything to do with sex i dont even bother reading thier profile...becasue chances are if they have something about sex in thier profile thats all they want so if you dont want that maybe chance your nic.
I am not looking for one night stands or friends with benifits and thats all I seem to be getting from being online period. Its men as well ... all i seem to be talking to/meeting online are men who want one night stands even though i tell them before i meet them i dont want that... they still agree to meet me thinking i will change my mind once i see them. I have met over 40 men in the past 3 years or so and i would say at least 30 of them wanted sex right away.
I will admit i have had a few one time things but it wasnt what i was looking for infact they lied to get me to have sex with them( i know that sounds stupid but its true) They would tell me how much they like me and want to see me again or even make plans to meet later in the week, they act like they are really interested and i felt the spark was there so i had sex with them and never heard from them again... so thats all they wanted and they played me good. Thats why now i will not have sex of any sort with a guy i just meet. No matter how temped I am. Infact I havent met anyone in the past 4 months for that reason.... if they bring up sex at all in the first conversation I will not meet them period.
well i have had alot of experience with this so i could go on forever but i will stop now lol | |

I'm not sure I would assume that wanting sex right away means only wanting a one night stand, but that may just be me.
As for men thinking you may change your mind... Men are socialized to persure and sell themselves to women. It starts in school as that is what is usually rewarded by girls. Unfortunately, that may mean dishonesty with some men. I don't know I'm not like that, though there have been times I've wondered if that's what women really want.
I think about these things especially in regards to my 2 teenage daughters. I wish I could talk to them about this stuff, to help them understand boys better and improve their success of having a good relationship. BUT (as is frequently the case) DAD doesn't know anything about anything!
Is it just me, or wouldn't ALL men who are only interested in sex change their tune? I mean if they are not being rewarded for showing sexual desire early... I think they would try something else.

as for finding someone that u can really connect with?...well i dont know if one will find it on line and really have it be something meaningful, but its no worse than going out on the town..as least from my experiences anyway
i think alot of ppl are just plain out afraid...i think alot of us really dont know what we want, but we are just hopeful that someone nice comes along and fills in the blank..and i dont mean sex either...i mean all the other things that are much more important..
i do believe that there is someone for everyone out there, but it just takes time to find that special person and connect...its probably one of the hardest jobs ive ever had....lol | |

Yes, they are sluts...and no, they are not looking for anything long-term.....well, at least not at that point in their life.
Typically, women at the age you mentioned either get knocked up, have 3 kids from 3 different boyfriends, then are on their 2nd divorce, at the age of 40 something and only THEN they want some average, stable nice guy (who by the way has no kids and has never been married, to go out with them). Chances are they caught the clap from some guy that bent them over their couch in a drunken stuper.
Of course, I'm just describing the worst case senario.
If you seen some pictures of some of the girls on "My Space" you will know what I mean...seems that someone brings a digital cam with them to a nightclub, and takes pictures of them partying it down, and eveyr picture is them all leaning up together each with a beer or drink in their hand....with glazed over eyes.

Hello, it's a 2 way street. Guys need to learn to not just give themselves to any women that wants them. What a different world that would be. As a guy, you should know you can not have sex whenever you feel like it, like women can (go ahead, refute me, because women know they can't) so you better not waste any chances. Otherwise you'll be wishing you did later.

JustAnotherPhoenix.... well i never heard from any of them afterwards so thats why i figure it was only going to be a one night stand... cuz if they where seriously interested they would have still called me even if i didnt give them sex the first time we met.
