| friends with benefits.... Posted: 8/8/2005 5:47:52 PM | | All of my sexual relationships started with friends actually, now that you mention it kamaris_kiss. It's just the last one that was a mistake. Hmmmm, something to ponder for me now. | |

| friends with benefits.... Posted: 8/10/2005 11:20:44 AM | and you're not... so friends with benefits.. well I've had a few over time and they still seem to pop up every once in a while. I've had many firends who when we're drunk or buzzedc or what have you, that just sex just happens. just sex.. there was no strings because we/are were good enough friends not to want to blow it out of proportion. sure emotionally bonding sex is fundamental to a great realationship, but friends who can have benefits and still remain so, do so for a long time (umm.. remain friends that is)
that's my experience.. and I still talk to the people to this day and every once in a while... BOOTY CALL

If you start dating someone or they do, do the benefits stop? Third, you need to have a solid friendship outside the bedroom then when the sex stops you can still be friends. Love, respect and an honest desire to see the other person happy help when they move on or you do. This can work but it's not for everyone. Beware of falling into the trap of getting too attached to your friend. Make sure you have lots of other friends and interests. I can't stress this enough. Be honest about your feelings! With your friend and yourself.

| friends with benefits.... Posted: 8/10/2005 3:16:29 PM | Oh, how I miss a FwB....I find it works best with an EX. If you've parted on good terms, simply because you are not the right people for each other in mariage but are still close friends and both are single...
That situation ROCKS...stressed out? Been a while? Drunk and strikin out? Well you have nothing to worry about as long as your friend is around...nice

| friends with benefits.... Posted: 8/10/2005 6:47:47 PM | I've had a FWB before.. my prob is I ended up feeling more than he did, and that wasn't fun. So, I don't think I'm gonna go there again. I'm holding out for the real deal.. | |

| friends with benefits.... Posted: 8/10/2005 7:06:45 PM | | Unless I have experienced it I can't say if I'm for or against friends with benefits. It's something I have never had the opportunity to do, all my friends have them, and it seems to be going great for them, but I'm still clueless. | |

| friends with benefits.... Posted: 8/12/2005 2:12:13 PM | Been kinda debating this the last little while. I have an ex-girlfriend and let's just say we made an awesome team in the bedroom. We've remained very close ever since but recently she suggested that, at least until I am involved in another serious relationship, that she might be willing to, shall we say, feed my hunger, but with NO STRINGS ATTACHED and told me "Just don't fall in love with me again". It was a long time ago and I am over her now emotionally but I still CRAVE her in the bedroom. We had lunch today and I told her that I am cool with the idea, and when we parted I whispered in her ear, ANYTIME,ANYWHERE. It may be a mistake but I've made them before. | |

| friends with benefits.... Posted: 8/17/2005 2:25:26 PM | Well the last FWB I had... well didn't work out tooo well. The arrangment was there but it got wierd when we roamed in the same circle and attended similar functions. So ... the tension started even before it really took off... no more FWB.
Right now.. an FWB would be fine.. but it would be much better to have someone more regular more intimate, someone you can actually do other things with other than just sex (not that THAT is a bad thing). If such a person existed... an FWB++ that would be something to be considered.. but then where do the boundaries lie... where do you draw that line between just and FWB and more...?
I'm rambling.. I'm tired.. but been thinking about this one... it can work.. only if you don't socialize or hang in the same circle. Just my opinion.
