| So where were YOU when man first walked on the moon? Posted: 2/25/2005 4:07:42 PM | Hmm. . . 1969. . . well, I was a hippie flower child working at Boston University as a secretary and was having a good time in bed with my boyfriend (who later became my first husband), and every once in awhile we'd glance up at our small rabbit ears TV to watch the moon walk.

| So where were YOU when man first walked on the moon? Posted: 2/25/2005 9:27:56 PM | Well, I was 15 and probably with my boyfriend. We dated from the time I was 15 to age 20. I don`t remember seeing it on TV so I must have been otherwise occupied....redneckgirl133 PS But I do remember where I was when President Kennedy was shot, and John Lennon.... | |

It was especially special for me, my birthday is July 16th, and while most people can remember that we got there on July 20th, I remember that the rocket took off on my birthday!

| So where were YOU when man first walked on the moon? Posted: 4/12/2005 5:52:59 PM | I was 13 years old. I was at a friend's house watching the moonwalk on a big black and white console TV. I was wearing blue jeans and a red, white, and blue shirt. I was awestruck. | |

I was fascinated by the Apollo program, it was sure a great time to be alive and witness such an amazing historical event.
I don't think anything since has come close.

| So where were YOU when man first walked on the moon? Posted: 4/17/2005 12:05:40 PM | Jeeze! - the worst time of my life! - 19, in college, just discovering my gf was pregnant and beginning a huge fallout with most of my family (married the gf, though - and just ADORE my daughter - and the son who came along later). Still found time to see how long I could hold my breath in front of the TV as that daring adventure unfolded. Must have made some sort of impression - spent a lot of my career helping figure out how to keep space travellers healthy enough to survive a trip to Mars. | |
