Sometimes I log in to POF and while I'm reading the forums, I have to run off to put the laundry in the dryer or the phone rings and I am away for a while. If someone doesn't reply to me, I just assume this kind of thing happenned and send them an email. Life is too short to get upset about things like this. | |

I had someone that I chat with frequently get his feelings hurt.. thinking I was ignoring him!
Plus if I'm on my work laptop (I know... NO NO) it has a great blocker so I can't open them... so I can't reply! | |

That is so true... I always let ppl know if I have to go! why just disappear? That is just Fricken Rude!

I think it shows we are online when in forum.. so ppl try to contact us! When we don't respond.. they don't E-mail! It would be cool if someone sent an IM and we missed it that they would send us the missed IM...
But.. this is a free site! :-)~
I had more people contact me the day I joined then I have since... so I spend more time in forums! | |

Gotta ^^^ Men aren't the ones ALWAYS making first contact. Most women just move along when they don't get a response from the men they've contacted...they don't start a thread.... just personal experience talking here; I can't speak for every woman, but threads about men not getting responses from women have been done to death...and the same answer applies every single time... He/she is just not that into you...period. So what!!.... move on.
As far as POF being the only place to source out women...that is so not true. This place is great for flirting, starting an email exchange or IM through your own messenger service, but I don't believe for one second that this the place that you're going to find your next date that turns into a relationship.... I believe in most cases that will happen in real time, real place and.....er ahem...with a real person. | |
