A little song
a little dance
treats too
looking for something special
"Blue Ribbons" found to decorate
lyric's formed to joyous beat
its a dragon's special day!!
Dragon, dragon, dragon
fiddle, faddle, hey
dribble, dabble way
dragon, dragon, dragon play
Sung three times over dancing around
Presents and cars made for friends

Whispered promises
Almost unseen
Swords held aloft
For just one moment
Reflecting the images lying there
Then falling to ash before my eyes
Gone
One mighty Tsuba though embedded in my memory
Grotesque faces daubed in blazing silver
Staring out at me
Accusingly
As I surrender the blade
To waiting hands
Like the pieces of silver that once bought
That fabled betrayal
So too...this silver....speaks
But somehow
What was mine
....or what chooses to be
Somehow a part of it (or them) always remains with me
And often...somehow...they find a way to return

Steel grey shimmers as far as the eye can see
And the air feels good again
Uniforms, conforms, other forms
All put away
And the sun becomes my friend again
Barefoot I explore an old world anew
And see how its grown
Time does that
And 'tourist destinations'
Mountains and rainforests
(and the odd taipan)
Slimy things and creepy things
And a lace winged moth that came to greet me
I almost feel like I'm home
...almost
We'll see
But those restless feet will lead me
...ever on
To where I wonder?

She is actually quite gorgeous
16ft of Olive Python
non venomous as all pythons are
looked after her years ago when she was run over
Couldnt shed her skin properly over scarring
So gave her to a wildlife sanctuary
All fat and lazy now
seems pretty contented
All is good
"Very weird"???
Bit harsh I reckon
just slightly eccentric sounds better

She always carried the leaking bucket in her left hand
Her son visited one day
He was ashamed with his mother having a leaky bucket
and wanted to get her a new one
Her reply was simple
"In one hand I carry a perfect bucket
This bucket gives me drinking and cooking water
I rely greatly on this bucket and it never spillls one drop of water
In my other hand I carry my leaky bucket
When I get home it is only half full
But as I walk it drips on my left hand side
Look at the path I follow to the well
See the beautiful flowers growing there
but only on one side
