Well, it's probably because I cannot seem to find the man I would like to be with for the rest of my life, or I haven't really fallen in  the way I want to.
Therefore, I think it may be time to give up now !! and find my own way as a single woman, and forget about all this stuff.

1) didn't have enough time for me because he was a workaholic
2)cheated on me then proceeded to avoid me for a whole week after the fact
3) he was hung up on a girl from his past and wanted to sleep with his ex when me, a perfectly good person was waiting to give him whatever he wanted/needed (something is obviously wrong with me lol)
So yeah, I wasn't about to subject myself to a relationship that wasn't really one at all, and to playing second fiddle to another woman. Even to this day he avoids me and acts like a prick. | |

Posted: 11/30/2008 4:04:35 PM | Lets see. I work alot out of state for months on end, and my ex has a bad habit of cheating on me whenever I leave for some reason. She always wants me back whenever I go home, but not this time.
She left me for a woman this time. Its kind of insulting......and......sadly aroussing all at the same time
The thought of a three way has crossed my mind a time or two so dont bother asking. Sadly I really loved the girl, but it was her or my career apparantley. Their are no solid jobs where Im from so I really didnt have a choice | |

Toooo fricken funny but oh so true!!!!!!
Well lets see why am I single.
1. Recently laid off. Not exactly a way to impress a possible lifetime mate.
2. I tend to be quite a bit shy, so I am afraid to make that move
3. I also tend to be a bit picky. I love sporting events and would love to find a woman who enjoys them as well.
4. It is very difficult to find genuinely good people these days so I am a bit cautious especially having a child I am highly involved with. | |

This means that I wear several hats at work, one being my social worker type hat when dealing with all the trauma and drama that their families seem to enjoy creating and thriving on at times. It is draining, although I give 200 percent of myself at work and love my job. Men who do not require me to deal with an excessive amount of drama and trauma in their lives are the ones who interest me, and these seem to be hard to find, being that I try to maintain a personal life that is free of drama and trauma...i.e....does he complement my life or complicate it? | |

I could make a bitter remarks about an ex (Why that lyin' cheatin'...)
Or make humorous observations. (In my family tree, I am considered to be the sap.)
Instead, I'll go with the way I see it.
I'm single because that's how life has turned out to be for me. Decisions have been made and lines have been drawn. I decided that I would be happier to be single, than to put myself into a bad relationship just so that I could "be" with someone. | |

My personality is so all over the place that there aren't many people that have similar interests
I'm not willing to have sex before marriage
I will not compromise just to be in a relationship (I'd rather be single)
I have no idea how to flirt

Posted: 12/10/2008 1:05:23 PM | my ex of 14 years was boring, nothing in common, no communication, no attraction any more so i ended it. Got rather attached to a guy i discovered to be a drug dealer so got out of that, then found a really nice bloke i had loads in common with, fell for his charm, believed his lies, got spiked by him for his own entertainment, treated me like shit, compared me to his ex, told me i was too fat, complained my hair wasnt curly enough, told me when my nail varnish didnt match what i was wearing, critisised my accent so i dumped him
Now im single again and happy, confident and starting to enjoy life again. Who needs to be attached ffs. | |
