Just got finished reading the last HP book and now I am reading my favorite author Stuart Woods. Any one ever read any books by Janet Evanovich. If so would like to hear from you.

If you want something very light and extremely humourous, I recommend "How to be a Canadian" by Will and Ian Ferguson.

Other good reads:
Trinity - Leon Uris (the best novel i've ever read)
The Winds of War, and War and Remembrance - Herman Wouk
Exodus- Also by Leon Uris (also amazing)
John le Carre - The spy who came in from the cold
In the Skin of a Lion - Michael Ondaatje
Catcher in the Rye - Salinger
And my second most favorite ever "SHOGUN - by James Clavell

Reading Currently: Tad Williams OtherLand series/meganovel. I'm 3/4 through the second book, and I'm still not sure how much I like it.

Last good book(s): The worldwar series by Harry Turtledove (the MASTER of alternate history).

I'm reading John Irving's "Until I Find You". I just can't get into it. I've read the same chapter about 6 times....soooo....I switched to "The Brothers Karamazov" by Fyodor Dostoevsky, which is an old favorite of mine.

I was also re-reading "As You Like It" by WS.

The Da Vinci Code *rolls eyes* The only thing for which that book was good was that is spurred me to read as much as I could about all of the things and theories mentioned in it. Of course I have a weakness for dissecting Catholicism at every opportunity *damn those nuns in school*.

Curious George goes to the hospital, the pictures where awesome, the text was big even i could read it, the man in the yellow hat has some pimp swagger, and that little monkey, god damn little monkey. (i don't want to spoil it for you, but they had to go to the hospital)

@ Free,

I know what you mean. It's cool stuff but it does make the brain hurt. I had to get into a discussion with someone once about quantum physics (I'm SUCH a geek) and since I was out of my depth with it, I had to ask where to learn more. I was pointed to Hawking. The problem with inquisitiveness...

I finished Harry Potter 6 last weekend and was pleased to find I enjoyed it much more than 5.

I'm currently reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman.

No wonder the kid's cant find Harry potter, all you adult's are reading it and making them watch a DVD what the heck is with the world (Childhood reading up 27%, but taking the book away to read for yourself up 287%)

The last book I read was Virtual Light by William Gibson. I preferred Neuromancer but Virtual Light was a good read.

I'm currently slowly reading I'm Ok You're Ok by Thomas A. Harris.

So far I like the book. It explains why people behave the way they do. It further supports my belief that everyone is nuts! ;-)

Seriously, it's a good book if you want to understand why you, and others behave the way they do.
