| Reading any Good Books? Posted: 8/18/2005 9:31:07 AM | | Just read a totally great book - it was called Rockbound by frank parker day - very different - written in a maritimer dialect. We read it forthe book club and i was surpised by how much i enjoyed it. Just finished reading a wrinkle in time for this months discussion - again not usually a scifi reader -but really enjoyed it. | |

| Reading any Good Books? Posted: 2/18/2007 7:45:43 AM | | I read this book a few years ago but I recommend it to anyone, even if you don't like Fantasy. Good Omens by Neil Gaiman/Terry Prattchet. You will laugh your ass off. | |

| Reading any Good Books? Posted: 2/18/2007 7:55:03 AM | | I am reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards ... so far it is great. It's just an idea, and I have done it before usually with family members though ... passing my book along ... sorta of lending and once read, I ask the reader to sign it and perhaps comment somewhere in the book and pass it on to another ... once done ... and when it is eventually returned to me ... I like to get an overall of what people thought of the book and who has read it ... if anyone is interested in this idea, let me know via e-mail ... and perhaps I can pass the books along at the various events we attend ... | |
