 I'm way beyond 18 but remember well that time. I know that you think that nothings gonna come your way, but stop looking is a good idea - take care of Sami and find out who you want to be. Lots of good thoughts have been posted to you, hopefully you will read the good ones and take heed. You need to love you, bottom line. Get help if you need to, spend time taking care of you! Learn it now for it is way harder when your 40 something! Some of us got what we thought we wanted when we were 18 (me for one) and yes I have two great kids your age from it, but I never had a true friendship with their dad. My advice is simple, love yourself, be yourself and decide what YOU want to be for YOU first.
 To all those who have no consideration for others - go away! There are plenty of other messages you could respond to! Stop being ugly to another human being. We all have doubts and trials to live thru but not all of us have someone to talk to. Just don't respond if you can't be nice. People die because of people like you all. Some of us aren't as thick skinned or worldly. BE NICE it'll come back to you!!!!

You dont know how eerily true that can be....
when I met my ex ..it was a period when not only I was not looking ...but in fact avoiding
a relationship..........than fast forward 10 years and 2 kids. | |

Trust me, it took more guts than I ever thought I had. I had visions of me driving to one of the most beautiful places in the world (Rocky Mtns) and spending a week in my tent and my car. But I wanted to go camping and hiking and if I had to do it alone.... so be it. So I went.
That and I want to go to Italy in 2006 so I'll likely be doing that alone and I figured I'd better find out if I could before I spent all that money to fly over there and see a hotel room

the reason your alone is because your afraid to try again.. it happens to all of us from time to time. but it only lasts a season unless you hold on to it..
quiting might not get you hurt but it builds a cage of isolation that can hurt just as bad.. hang in there and take it slow.. i pray you find the right one for you. | |
