...i know what you mean...i was reallly trying hard to be nice...I am betting both think they are in the studmuffin range...when in reality...not so much LOL...yea women expect to be able to get them...any woman lol. I actually think wives devoid of personality are great matches for them...the rest of us would get bored wayyyyyy too quick lol
OT...I know lots of men who get women wayyyyyyyyyy hotter than they should...same goes for women...have something to offer to level the playing field a bit. Every one has flaws so even hot chicks arent the total package. | |

Besides, they have this double standard. If a man wants a hottie, he's shallow. If a woman wants a studmuffin, she's only claiming for what she deserves.
Sorry, but no. I want somebody beautiful inside and outside. And guess what: I got her.

Lori you started this whole little flame war we apparently have going on: the thread topic was called "Can ugly women get studmuffins?"
That very title itself asked a question to which I answered - NO, at least not in MY opinion, to which I further asked "If a woman/man perceives herself/himself as ugly, why would they even EXPECT to get someone deemed attractive?". Notice I ANSWERED the first part of the question posed in the OP - I don't think ugly women can land studmuffins. I never called myself one, nor was I discussing my personal situation.
Next the OP mentioned the plain Janes of the world, which I took to be question #2: "Can plain janes get studmuffins?" - to which I answered, YES (once again in MY opinion), and I went to state my reasons why I believe this to be possible.
I don't have time to waste arguing with an overly-sensitive fat girl that's playing her own pity party and even glossing her profile by listing herself as an Average body type (now who's deluding themselves? ). You can insult away, my confidence is unshakeable by the likes of you, as you remain yet one more anonymous poster whom I'll never have to endure the horror of meeting anyway

Haven't you watched enough Television to know that the visually attractive man is usually the worst bet for a relationship? My idea of a "stud muffin" is a guy with a HOT brain, killer sarcasm, beautiful eyes, and not only the ability, but the desire, to make me smile. So what if he's not Brad Pitt...yuk...never did like that guy...eww...LOVE Jeff Goldblum, Gene Wilder, and Nicholas Cage...They're so ugly they're HOT! Studmuffin city! On topic...I always find guys to be hotter (studmuffins) when they, themselves, dont think they are all that...and those guys are usually incredible men and willing to date a great girl...even if she is a plain jane or whatever. | |

In my own experience, I have snagged some real losers, and some even better winners- all good looking, but even more important, they are all great at heart- If you view yourself in a negative light, then of course you will get the negative- if you view yourself in a positive light, well... you get the point- with me, I am having more fun now with different people (and in the terrible 2's weight wise) than I did say, 7 years ago when I was thinner- its all in how you percieve yourself. | |
