Well, either way, you would "still got it"... just because you wouldn't know the reason doesn't mean it didn't happen (hence, you 'got it' to some degree).

Posted: 8/3/2011 6:52:59 PM | I hear a lot of people say that age is a number, but then again, so is my shoe size. This statement is not only misleading but a form of selfishness. It is merely a justification some people to use to go after someone much younger than them.
Now I have NEVER dated a woman much younger than I am. However, when I was twenty, I dated a woman that was 37 years old. It worked great at first, but after a year or so, those little inter-generational gaps started to seep in and cause enough friction to cause the relationship to collapse.
These types of relationships are insidious. It can start out wonderful, and then after a while, the breakups tend to be brutal and demoralizing.

These men might seek the sharing of a breath of fresh vitality and youth they may feel slipping away. Some have been in failed relationships and may have self esteem issues stemming from their faults, and personal issues as seen by a former mate thrown in their faces. Women their own age may see these short comings as undesirable. Younger not as experienced women may over look these faults and make them feel like they once did. So power to the men that seek this kind of rejuvenation. I hope it lasts for them. I usually date older men because they make me feel like Im that special breath they want to breathe.

It's not too often that you see a 35 year old man leave a 35 year old woman for a 40-45 year old woman. He's more likely to go for someone 20-30. You look at the Celebrity men that date around, and they're generally going for women MUCH younger than them, and they most certainly have a wide variety of options as to what they can get. I mean why else would Hugh Hefner at the ripe old age of 85 be dating women that are younger than his kids? I'm sure he could find a nice pleasant 55-95 year old woman that, for her age, looks stunning. I browse my facebook, and most of my female friends from high school are married to guys that are at LEAST 5 years older than them. I honestly don't think most men are as concerned about things like "maturity" or "generation gaps." They just want to find the hottest female they can afford. | |
