| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 2/2/2009 3:32:24 PM | | I have nothing against the shaved look...but I definitely prefer the natural one. To me, it just looks more womanly, which translates into SEXIER. I'm old-school, I guess. Plus...the shaved look has become so common in this day and age. It's nice when you find someone who bucks the trend. | |

| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 2/2/2009 4:43:02 PM | | I can't believe all the women that would prefer to have a razor blade on their **** lol!!!! Do you ever cut yourselves? I could only imagine the pain, give me a quick wax any day over shaving!!!!!! | |
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 2/2/2009 7:53:44 PM | You're all out of your minds, you shaving women and the men who love them. Gimme a crotch with hair, long beautiful hair...
Well, since it's mostly the over 40s group who stay natural and appreciate natural fur, I won't be tempted to run off with any young chicks, will I.
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 2/2/2009 10:29:18 PM | I prefer neatly trimmed or shaved, I am not a cat and do not enjoy coughing up hair balls, eeehh! eeehhh!!!!! Tryin' to get the hair out | |

| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 2/3/2009 3:56:06 AM | i shave mine all the time well i do usally but my husband always wants to shave me it gets him horney having my kitty right there and he cant phuck me its a big turn on for him plus it feels great when he does it. i think hair on a kitty is very ugly and its a turn off | |
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/18/2009 7:05:55 PM | LOL-i agree. i get my eyebrows threaded and i feel like a rebel. let alone waxing, and down there-yikes.
i always said, i would do it for my husband when i'm married. so recently i got a tiny tiny square done on my leg , waxed, to see if i could handle it, and then i would just start waxing my legs from now on. i was in tears, the pain stayed with me for a few days. omg.
i just do brazillian shave now. i pretty much just shave as much down there as i can. and i remove any bumps or ingrowns every other day.
beyond weird question-but if iyou can pay someone to wax u down there, couldn't you just pay someone to shave you down there?? i'm not planning on it, lol but curious
also i'm indian, and have brown skin. does shaving down there create thicker hair or make a shadow or anything?
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/18/2009 7:15:55 PM | last question: for those who have done laser how much is the pain?? how many trips approx does it take??
eyebrow threading or eyebrow waxing i rate about a 2. waxing any other part i would rate a pain of 20/10 lol. what is laser?
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/18/2009 7:18:13 PM | oy, the things we go thru... sounds like you did not have a good waxer. at all. laser is the way to go. | |
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/18/2009 7:23:45 PM | | medchick- i don't think that there is really pain from laser, but i have a high pain tolerance. it is more like a small 'zap' with each zapping they do- feels like a mild burn/stinging sensation that rapidly goes away. like when you blow out a match and barely touch your skin with it. there is significant removal on the first session, with less regrowth each session (it can take sev'l- at least 4-6), so make sure this is something you want to do long term/permanently. | |
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/22/2009 12:29:42 AM | Let it grow. I prefer it hairy. The thicker the sexier. A nice triangle or landing strip type. Not the rangy kind that runs down your thigh, but a trimmed thick patch of hair. Yum! | |
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/22/2009 6:25:55 AM | I have been tempted to have it done (Brazilian wax), and when I spoke to an esthetician she told me there's a creme you use after wards which prevents hair growth, thus eventually limiting and ultimately ending the need to have it done. Sounds great huh? Oh, but wait. There's the whole PAIN factor to get past..ugh. I shave, completely. It is a pain, as you have to do it every day. Sometimes I let it go a day, but you don't want to leave it any longer. And, if you do it every day, it only takes a minute or two. One night my girlfriend and I had a "waxing" party. She did my legs first (no big deal, barely hurt at all). Then she did my underarms. OH MY GAWD!! The pain was absolutely excruciating!! I went into shock I think..it honestly felt like the hair was 2 feet long, and being pulled from somewhere near my navel..(((shudders))) The results though, were fantastic. You couldn't tell there had ever been hair there, I loved it. But..not enough to ever wax again. I'll stick to shaving methinks, until I no longer care where hair grows. I would do my legs again, but I just don't have the time to wax. It is a time consuming process.
I am surprised to hear some guys like the natural look. I have been shaving it smooth for so long, that the thought of any hair there makes me cringe..it's more a cleanliness issue for me now, I just don't feel clean if anything's there, but I do really like the way it feels/looks, and I think my partner does as well.
Just a thought..what do you think the odds are that the person who came up with the idea of putting HOT wax on your p*ssy, letting it harden, and then RIPPING it off was male? Just a thought.

| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/22/2009 6:39:39 AM | Just this past week, the regulators in NJ announced that they were considering banning brazilian waxes, because two or three women had had subsequent "complications" and sued. The salons objected, because brazilians waxes account for more than half of their gross revenues. Yesterday, the regulators decided to let the free market remain free.
A recent post suggested that over-40 women eschew the pubic shave/wax. My experience suggests that this community is more interested in enhancements, not less.

I will be forty later this year, and have to agree with whytwater. At this stage of my life, I finally feel comfortable in my skin, and as such want my body to look it's very best. I take very good care of myself; maintain my weight, and try to always look my best when out in public. Of course no one but me (and my partner) knows if I am clean shaven or not, but the fact is *I* know. And it makes me feel good, and I think it shows in my confidence level. To me, that is worth the frustration. But that's just me.
I am in no way implying that those who don't shave should feel any differently. It is a very personal thing, and everyone is different. All that matters is that you are happy with you.

I really like this approach, and do the same, for the same reasons, although, sad to say, only I know for sure. On the brighter side, it makes that smart-assed question about drapes matching carpet go away.

Breathlesshush, i would rather have my lala waxed than under my arms, i can bear the sensation, so much so that i shave them, i have down below waxed every 4 weeks and dont consider it painfull.

Men have pubic hairs and yet... we can ... well u know... For me, brazilian is a bit too much (old school guy, I know) but I do not care to get things in my teeth. There is a happy medium!

You mean, something like hair weaving for the crotch? I'm all for keeping what you've got and not running off to be sheared with the other sheep, but I don't think it's necessary to add anything!
Yes, I do understand the intent of what was said--but "enhancement" generally means adding something, and "less" means taking it away.
|
| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/22/2009 12:03:48 PM | | Laser is recommended for those with fair skin and dark hair. Darker skinned people will most likely need more treatments, and for those with white or blond hair it might not work. It is said to be 80% reduction - not permanent. The reason for this is because the treatment needs to be done when the hair is in the active stage of growth. Many times it takes 3-7 treatments per area, each spread apart aprox 4 weeks. Most people also have hair folicles that are dormant, if these become active more sessions will be needed. I just started my treatments - it stings a bit - but the results are worth it. No raser burn, no ingrowns, and a lot less maintenance! | |

Hmmmm. My dictionary says "to make greater, as in value, beauty, or effectiveness", or "to provide with improved, advanced, or sophisticated features". Some think in terms of solids, others, qualities.
Think sushi-less (the thickness of the slice) is more.
Your profile is picless, but ten bucks says your hair is cut to look like every other over-50 herd animal. Lol. Hair is sexy, even very sexy, north of shoulders, but no more belongs in cracks or crevices than the grass growing out of the seams in my sidewalk. Hair is kinda like grass-it tends to grow everywhere you don't want it to.
I see nothing ovine about a lady's willingness to depilate (ugh, animal analogies and human-sex don't mix well, imo). In fact, to me, it makes her kinda special. Not into those mohawk/landing strips either. Lol. Yeah, I'm radical.

| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/22/2009 2:00:06 PM | These shaving/waxing thread make me laugh so much.Shaving the kitty .I guess its an American thing, as while we get bikini waxed, its not so radical.I think I am my own person and I am not shaving for anyone.Pubic hair is not random growth, it appears as a sign of puberty and sexual maturity in females and males.
It holds pheromones, protects against foreign bodies- not men/bacteria and in my view is very attractive. The plucked chicken look IMO is funny and weird. Not hair half down the thighs, but trimmed neat pubic hair. Why the need to sanitize sex or make it appear more pure. The hair makes it dirtier, is that hygienically or just makes the sex less dirty.
Using a bidet after the toilet, showering and attending to general cleanliness, gets rid of the clean factor.I feel people still feel sex is dirty or animalistic and have subconscious puritanical opinions on sex.A shaved man is a total turn off,its just so unmanly. So I say keep the hair and be real.I cant believe people shave everything off, hysterical.

| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/22/2009 5:51:56 PM | What exactly is a Brazilian?? I have a fague idea, but am not sure. Is it completely bald?? I have shaved myself bald a couple of times and it felt really weird. - like I was a child - ugh! I trim regularily and have since I was a teenager - way before it was the "in" thing and I did it just because my hair is so thick. I have never had a guy complain about it "down there" and though some definitely preferred a good trim it never stopped them from enjoying me. I feel the same about them. I enjoy pleasing my man and I won't let hair that is supposed to be there get in my way!!! | |

| Brazillian (shaved) Posted: 3/22/2009 6:18:28 PM | I've never minded the shaved look, or unshaved... slept with both... no issues one way or the other....never thought about it one way or the other.... then one time I was with a girl and she decided to shave....I know every girl looks a little different down there.... labia, hips etc.... Well.... I was really freaked.. it looked like a little girl.... and I was kind of grossed out.... I felt guilty.... I told her some crap about her having stubble and suggested she let it grow back.... she did thank god... It was so weird, like I've seen shaved before, but on this one girl it just creeped me out and I really didn't want to go there again until it grew a bit.... I think I'm happy with a nice little furry pointer from now on.... | |
