Posted: 7/10/2008 1:21:02 PM | Since I use pot to help deal with pain, I do not believe it should be any more of a crime then using Alcohol or Perscription drugs. The fact is people will do whatever works for them. It makes more sense to encourage proper use. We all know that someone will abuse and over use.just about anything! People get in cars and drive too fast under the influence of whatever or just because they can. .
That has nothing whatsoever to do with making pot smoking a crime, the true crime is that a lot of people don't like rules, laws and being told what not to do!
Doctors know the advantages of marihuana and so do the people that are using out of need rather then desire. | |

Move to Oregon, and you can find a way to use it without getting in trouble with exception of problems from your employer.
We had one case where a worker, with a marijuana card, tested positive and was fired.
The state Supreme Court ruled that his firing was legal.
I'm sure it is already written somewhere in this thread, but crowding our prisons with pot smokers is the stupidist no-brainer in the history of earth.....right along with paying your own closing costs for your mortgage. | |
