One of my close freinds refuses to date a woman with kids.
Point being it's going to depend on the guy. Will remove some potential suitors, but not enough that you should ever settle for less then you deserve. | |

Posted: 2/10/2006 11:53:07 AM | I don't believe that it should make much of a difference whether you are a single parent or not. I'm finding dating more difficult for MYSELF as I have become sooooo much pickier in terms of what type of man I'm going to get involved with. I have one child, and that child is always going to come first...I'm not so concerned about what men think of that, they are going to have to accept the situation one way or another. I am too young , too full of life and energy, got too many things to look forward to, to worry about whether it bothers a dude that I have a son. So I would say, trust your instincts and don't settle for just some guy who doesn't mind kids but sucks as a boyfriend in every other way. In the time that I've been a mother, I've grown up big time and I think that when I'm ready will make an even better girlfriend than I was before. | |

Posted: 2/10/2006 12:04:12 PM | Well i have a 2 yr old little girl, and i dont seem to have a problem with meeting people out and about or in a club, but for me to meet somone that im interested in i have to meet them first and have them get to know me first then i can tell them i have a child some run some dont. But more often than not they run, that is if they do not have kids.
But i think that part of my prob is that im going for the ones my own age maybee i should go for somethiong a little older. Idont know, What do you think? And if its not too much to ask what do you think of my pics i like thae opinions?  | |

Although................
What makes me uncomfortable is getting involved with a woman that has several kids and has the state more or less supporting her children. I understand that may happen because of a dead beat dad....well not even a dad but a sperm donor. Still up to the parent to provide for there children. Takes two to tango....responsible adults.
So. in all. If the woman is a indepedent provider for her children and a good mother then sure.....I would love to date her and maybe more.
Im fortunate that my sons mother and I agree that our sons well being and future is the most important thing to us. | |
