generally, i like shorter girls. in highschool, it was all about the tall girls (5'9-5'11) but now, 5'2-5'7 is perfect.. i find that most of them are cuter, BUT not shorter than 5'0" or that's a little too little. i guess as long as i dont have to tippy-toe or bend down to kiss her, it's all good :) i hate being short..

I don't have a specific height requirement, but I guess I'd probably prefer someone at least my height or taller...but I'm 5'7" most guys are taller than me anyways.

AS we've talked about in a couple of other threads...TALLER! TALLER! TALLER! I am 5'8" and altho I would consider....and I mean CONSIDER someone 5'10" to 6'0".....my "average height" tends to be at least 6'3" for a guy. LOL I have dated up to 6'10"....which YES....was rather tall. LOL 6'3" to 6'8" is good.

Ok...I am outta here.....

at 5'2" there are not many guys shorter than me, so it's not really an issue

I prefer taller also....part of the "feeling of security, girl like" Being taller, guys in my height range are good but more of an equal.

i prefer taller as well.... but not obnoxiously so...

Im 5'7 and like my men to be about 5'10-6'2. My ex is 6'5 and while it made me feel "petite" there were a few things that we couldnt do (sex in the shower anyone) LOL

I guess at 5'11" for me, it is not hard to find shorter women for me. On the other hand, have you people noticed that Caucasian women in the GVRD area have been shrinking in height? There are way more in the 5'3" to 5'6" category than anything higher I found..

I definitely prefer shorter, which is pretty easy being 6'-3". Meeting a girl taller then me would be kinda weird. That being said though, I'm not too picky on how tall. Tall is fine, shorter is fine, just not tiny.

My brother is 6'-7" and his girlfriend is 5'-0". It's a funny sight to see.

I'm 5'2" and prefer men over 6' - I will consider less height but the taller the better.

Well...I'm 5ft 11 and a 1/2. I really wish that I was an even 6ft...but that just isn't in the cards. I think at 30yrs old I've stopped growing. I love to wear high heels...so when I am out and about I am probably between 6'1" and 6"3.

I have dated taller men (one was a GIANT at 6'8) and I have dated shorter guys (the shortest being 5'9).

The one thing I do find is that I don't judge a person by their height...but that I am immediately judged by mine. This happens ALLLLL the time - more often than not by men.

Yesterday I had the day off and went for a walk near the fire dept where they had a basketball hoop outside. A few of the guys were out there shooting hoops (yes...my tax dollars at work...firemen playing on the job) and they called out to me "oh you must be very good at basketball - you're so tall".

Please. I like watching the NBA Finals...but I'm not into playing it myself. I'm not good at basketball...I'm very good at volleyball though.

I also have a girlfriend who is 4'10 and she is treated like a child ALLLLL the time despite her 37yrs.

Very interesting bunch of responses, especially the albino conversation in there. I am surprised actually on how many tall women are out there. Generally I don't see many "towering" women around town but I guess it's probably because I come up to their torso and I can't be bothered to look up. I will say being only 5'6, it's interesting because most taller girls generally aren't too comforable with dating guys who are shorter or who are similar in height (plus they always want to wear heels) and a lot of shorter girls always have the dream of dating someone who can reach their shoe boxes on the top shelf of the closest j/k. Nothing you can do about it I guess. No point in fretting about something you can't change (your height). I guess all I can do is hope some sucker will be interested in walking in heels while I rollerblade

at just a tiny bit shy under 6'0" its not really an issue for me, I've always prefered girls between 5'4" to 5'9" area but really? It doesn't matter. I've dated girls from 5'1" to 5'10" -- its all the same when you are horizontal yanno :P

I find myself attracted more to girls that are shorter than me but it's not a huge issue, but then I'm only 5'9.

Its not height thats important, its whats in the heart! Good things come in both big and small packages.
