| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/25/2005 6:11:53 PM | I still think if you like the guy enough ... sit on his face you both will be smiling and the snoring will definitly stop...lol
I like this solution the best! Very creative wat to turn a negative into a serious positive! lol
I have heard that I snore and it distresses me greatly (almost to the point of anxiety) as it's something that happens when I sleep, thus something I have very little control over.
When I know others are gonna be sleeping in the same room I lay on my stomache and bury my face in pillows desperately hoping if I do snore it will muffle it, sometimes it get's hard breathe. There are times i've stayed up all night to be sure I won't snore.
It's really frustrating to think about, because it's almost a feeling of being violated. except it's my own body thats doing it. :S
And i'm having a hard enough time dating that I don't need my own body driving girls away. :(
But if sweetiies solution could be brought in..... hmmmmm..... lol

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/27/2005 9:42:24 AM | | WEll that is just the opposite of one that snores aloud and at night..two snorers can sleep well 2gether after sex-lol I am a light sleeper so I would have to fall asleep first-lol-yet with someone like one that needs professional help for their sleeping condition-nasal sprays aren't the solution they need a sleep mask if they have apnea, etc. I caN'T hear myself snore but I could surely hear him-and since they that have that condition sleep very little, that is why the quieter snorer is woke up constantly by the deep snorer! Early on in our relationsship I would leave and go home for rest..then i got used to it-with the help of a sleep aide, but with my light snoring>Then he decided he couldn't get any sleep and maybe I should just go home so we had to part company-duh..he had the severe problem and needed the doctor..he's prob. still single. I wouldn't break up with someone because of the snoring..that's ridiculous- that's why beds are sold and two bedrm places! If that is the only reason or thing you have on him as an excuse to leave him-I feel for him truly... | |

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/30/2005 11:40:30 PM | that is my biggest pet peeve too, this guy actually lived with me a couple of years ago, we were dating but I made him sleep in another bedroom
WE didnt wind up sticking together b/c I like having someone beside me when I fall asleep. My boyfriend is very comapssionate now with the whole "snoring" peeve...He doesnt snore all that bad but has made me aware of my "sawing logs." lol so anyway if you really like the guy you will try a couple of different things, but if worse comes to worse, look at the situation and ask yourself if you think you will be with him for the rest of your life....if not, get over the snoring, its not a every night thing (unless you marry him, then you will be the fool for marrying someone with an obvious charachter flaw to you
Dayuum Im rambling...k..............

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 9/2/2005 12:24:11 AM | Haha! Very funny, indigo! I meant that you are one X short of a triple X naughty girl but you have your two X chromosones in all the right places - and, in spite of that, you are a pretty cool person to boot! How's that for a compliment? Very rare for me to say something nice. | |

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 9/2/2005 5:19:49 AM | | It would be music to my ears to hear a girlfirend snore, but it would be a shallow way for her to dump him for snoring, I feel she doesn't really love him. There are ways this can be fixed, put the strips in a letter and lay them on his pillow, and give him a love note telling him how you feel about him and how much help it would be to you. That is the way I would handle it , but after all I am a guy. | |

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 9/12/2005 4:23:46 AM | I am a very light sleeper, I actualy did have a girlfriend who snored and I did have to wear ear plugs... It was a challenge, I had to experiment with different kinds of ear plugs until I found the right kind. Finaly she had to wake me up every morning because I couldn't hear the alarm clock. | |
