Anyone with a tattoo should be shot and burned.

Would be kinda hard to keep the economy going if that happens!

tasteful tattoos on a woman are a turn on....all this about the bible and so on....isnt worshiping a cross or a statue classed as paganism?....

Nothing wrong with tats....getting a tat of my lost sons foot prints and his name on my arm....so he can always be with me

I have 6 girly tattoo's..
And they are only seen when I want them to be seen..
And I have no regrets about them and I plan on getting
another or maybe 2 more.. And they are a part of who I am..
So IF a man LOVES me he has to accept who I am
and my tattoo's..

OK let me get this straight anyone with tattoos should be shot and burnt and lets not forget guys with earrings is this correct? OK how is this how bout the rule apply to people that have shitty attitutes, think they are better then anyone else and umm lets throw in guys that are lacking in the lower region.People need to learn to respect other people and stop worrying about what they do, as grandmama also said " Sweep around your own back door before you come sweeping around others"

Honestly guys, can anyone be just really that plain ignorant and well, smallminded? This Hard Drive fella is just trying to get a rise outta yas. Gotta be. If that's not his motive and that's how he truly feels... very sad

For me, I think it is more along the lines of how I view femininity and certain gender appropriate attire, more or less based on how I was raised. When I think of feminine attire I think of frilly white or pink lace, hosiery, dresses, skirts etc... The image of June Cleaver comes to mind from the show "Leave it to Beaver". Now I just can't for the life of me, picture June Cleaver having or wearing a tattoo. Somewhere in the back of my mind, tattoo's just seem more masculine to me, not very lady like. Something that a "tough guy" would get. Just my .02 worth...

Depends on the person. I'd say if the person is happy with their tattoos and them selves then that shows and I'm happy for them.

I personally don't go for the roses, dolphins, butterfly tattoos.... think they're kinda corny but hey... if that's what you like then I'd be the last person to tell you not to do it.

Wow. Just when I think these threads cant get any worse. I agree with most on here. Its a choice that the individual makes. I am a 38 year old mother of three......And a grandmother. I have two tats and two piercings. I have a flower on my ankle very simple and tasteful and a cross with angel wings on my lower back for my mother who has terminal cancer. I think for the most part its a way for us to express ourselves. I dont judge anyone, for what right do I have to say that my way of thinking is the right one. I just find it hard to swallow that there are so many shallow people out there. Dont judge a book by it's cover, I may have a few pictures on my body, and yet taught children with special needs for 6 years. So does my tats make me any less of a teacher? Open your minds before you open your mouths. Sad. Just my thoughts.

I have 2, small and very meaningfull to me. Working on a third. I see tattoo's as a form self expression. I have used my body to represent who I am and where I have come from. I have never had any complaints about my peices, and really I wouldn't care if I did. My body, my eisle. I keep them small and feminen as I think a woman should. And only availible to show when I want. To me...yes that is sexy

I am 47 and just got my one and only tattoo on my upper back. It is a celtic motherhood heart with my birth flowers under it and my 3 sons birth stones in it. I am very proud of it and so are my sons.

Depends.

I've had mixed feelings depending on the girl, and the tattoo(s). If there are a lot of them, it can be a turn off, unless they are unique, and tasteful. I simply despite seeing tattoos that I've seen tonnes of times, I cannot believe that some people just go into a parlor and point at something in a book and say "that one" or "I saw this one, I want it too". To me, that expresses lack of creativity, and individuality, which to me is a huge turn off (and subsequently, why I don't prefer "girly-girls".) Body art is supposed to be a form of expression, and if you express the same thing everyone else does than why should you stand out?

On the topic of tattoos on women, why the hell do you say in your profile "Don't message me about my tattoos, they're real" and have pics of them? Christ, take them off your profile if you don't want someone to compliment/criticize them.

*Edit*If and when I get my tattoos, I've already designed my own, though I may get scarification instead.

Me myself , i dont particularly like tattoos or body piercings and definately would not have one myself (bar ears)......BUT there's no way I'd judge anotherperson on how many or where they had them !!!!!!! i possibly might even go and shake there hand lol, after all they gotta be brave to endure the whole 'needle' thing..............................Damn i nearly cried getting my ears pierced aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

And maybe i'm just being a naive romantic fool, but shouldnt it be the person that turns you on or off....not what they look like...ummmm ......ummmmm

personally, I find tatoos on a woman very attractive. The big turnoff for me is when they "get inked for the sole reason that its cool." Most people, myself included, find representation and almost a homily (sp?) in their decision to get a tattoo, or in my case, a tattoo and a brand.

It's all about the body that the tatt's are on. If she is bigger and they are all stretched then it's a big turn off, but if she's a workout fanatic and covered from head to toe then I'm all for it!

people who are making outrageous, comments like the one way above "people with tattoos and piercings should be shot"

are ignorant and moronic.. to get these things its a personal preference

if i hate girls with pink boots on i dont tell them to to drop dead ..

if a chick cuts her hair short.. i dont call her a lesbian if a chick beleives in religion i dont disown her (cause i dont care for religion)

so learn to open your mind and alow other things to access it.. nothing more stupid then a person with a closed mind and an ignorant and arrogent mind set

as for the thread..

I never have dated a chick with out tattoo's .. i actually a a personal preference I love chicks with tattoo's

even more so with sleeves chest pieces, covered back.. etc..

Chicks with tattoos are epic. Incredible. Amazing. More body art needs to be done, and more people shouldn't shun the fact about it.
