| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/21/2007 12:29:48 AM | For what its worth it is ONLY my opion on the matter....BUT..! I think ALL tattoos look gross. On a guy...well it still does not look good but on a female body...well down right UGLY..! HOWEVER if it very small and I do mean VERY small and is something that will not show in public and is something tasteful....I can let it slide. But I much prefer her to have NO tattoos what so ever. I like my act work on canvas hanging on the wall....not on ones body. But then that is just me...I am kinda old fashion in that way.... And I much more prefer the traditional, good girl type. This is the type I would must wish to find and marry and settle down with. But that is just me...

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 5:33:20 AM | Right on nightcowboy! Well said! I completely agree with you. IMHO, ink belongs on a canvas. Not on a body, kind of like being branded so that your owner can identify you amongst the masses. I guess if you really want and need to be identified, you can glue a GPS to your backside too. j/k | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 5:52:12 AM | | I have to concur with nightcowboy too. The more tats the uglier it is and will be. You nailed it as you said...when they get older and the skin sags....YUCK. So the firm tanned hardbody of today will be the disgusting trash no quality man would want in his 40's or 50's when she is divorced for the 2nd or 3rd time in the same age range. Fashion's change, come and go, the waist tats of today will be passe and undesirable in the not to distant future and then what will you have? Every time I see a pic of a gal our age with tats on her breasts displayed for all to see on Fish, I just press the next button. I don't find it a turn on, quite the contrary....yeah thats one I want to take hope to mom per se. NOT! Classy is as classy does and Classic style will always be IN, it never goes out of style. Wanna find out, get out in the worlplace and try to display your tats and piercings on a job interview. ENUF said!!!! | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 5:55:47 AM | I have never really wanted a tattoo until recently when I was away on holiday. My friend was having a half sleeve done (wanted to cover up an old tattoo he didnt like) and I decided to have one. Its not a very big one and its on my back, just below my right shoulder and its of 2 cherries. I chose cherries for a personal reason (no funny comments please - not THAT reason lol!) but also because the colours looked great and its an unusual choice.
I get so many comments when someone see's it, usually compliments. It doesnt look trashy, or nasty, its not the usual dolphin, or flower, or celtic ring, or chinese symbol. Its mine!
And because of the place I chose to have it, shouldn't look too bad in the future!
Thats my contribution to this thread! This was MY choice, MY body, MY taste. If a guy is going to just overlook a person because of a tattoo then BYE !! (How shallow!)
But I will say one thing - dont let anyone say they dont hurt - because they do!

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 6:14:46 AM | | Men or women I think they are gross,,,makes a woman less feminine and dont do nothing to make a man more macho,,,,that is my opinion | |
|
| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 6:19:37 AM | | The original question was: "tatoos on a womanturn on or turn off" Why do some women have to bash someone for stating their honest opinion? A very small tatoo of something like a flower just above the crack of the butt or on the side of one boob is pretty darn sexy, but I still would prefer none. I think that is sexier. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 11:58:30 AM | i have one tattoo...small one on my ankle. im thinking about getting another one. my first one was bought for me by my daughter for one of my birthdays (recently) i think its a personal expression and ill not worry about what i have to tell my grandkids because i don't have to tell them anything. and ill not worry about what it looks like when im older ill have other more important things to worry about. and if someone doesn't like me because of it ill not worry about that either. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 12:56:32 PM | to each they're own...tattoos mean different things to different people it's black or white...you like them or you don't...
mine is a form of expression in art on my body. not that i'm not happy with my body and feel a need to 'decorate' it i've fit and very active and live a healthy lifestyle
i have 5 tattoos and 4 of them form a picture that is 4 ft. long and wraps around my body from mid torso to just above my left knee
you'd never see it in an evening gown but you'd see it when i'm in shorts or a miniskirt
whether you think it's tasteful or not people are going to have them and have had them for centuries

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 2:29:17 PM | Defiantly a turn on for me, But if they get a tattoo for the sake of getting one then it means nothing and there is not much worse. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/22/2007 5:18:02 PM | ".A classy elegant woman doesn't have them"
I say a classy, elegant gentlemen would never make such ugly statements! It's one thing to say tatts are a turn on, or a turn off, it's quite another to make such overly generalized, judgmental statements! I also find it incredible that people actually seek out these kinds of threads not to simply give an opinion, but rather to take the opportunity to bash others and spew as much negativity as possible! You have your opinion- tatts are a turn off for you and that's fine; however I would be willing to wager that guys with arrogant, judgmental attitudes are a much bigger turn off for women, than your little turn off will ever be.
(oh btw, in case you are wondering, no I do not have any tatts, but people with your attitude make me want to run out and get one as fast as I can just so I can be in your face about it!)

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/23/2007 1:29:50 PM | | Don't all you old ****s have better things to worry about when you're old instead of tattoos? Things like having your children and grandchildren robbing you blind, creating a will, avoiding cancer? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 3/9/2007 3:19:24 AM | The only diffenrence between non tattoo'd poeople and people with in. Is that the people with ink don't care if your tattoo'd or not.
oh and if you just going to get one. yeah righ. there is a sing in my dad;s shop that says "welcome to your new Addiction"

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 3/9/2007 3:30:20 AM | | wow maybe I shouldhav read a few more post. all this classy bit that the upstanding member of society don't have tattoo'. Bull . I hav personaly tattoo'd Doctor's , nurces, Lab technitons , shop health inspector and R.C.M.P officers. I have even tattoo'd the mayor of my home town. tattoo's are for everyone except the short sited prople that were made to think it was wrong by there perents of the big corporations, If ink is a pasion no one should judge anyones tattoo's unless you have them your self. If the skin dye that someone choses to put in to thier body in a artful form, really bothers you then i say shut you mouth and walk the other way. | |
|
| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 3/9/2007 3:38:39 AM | | tattoo-ing is definately an addiction. i got my first one 10 years ago and have had 3 more since, and would love more. tattoos are just another form of art and expression, a bit like colouring your hair or wearing make up. they're not for everyone but i have to say i've never had any complaints. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 3/9/2007 12:08:13 PM | | They are mainly a turn off for me, though if the girl is smokin hot, I sometimes find it incredibly sexy (if it's like a small rose on her calf) | |
|
| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 3/9/2007 12:10:10 PM | I think I've participated in this before, but not sure..........however, I have two tattoos and am getting a third. I perceive myself as being classy, elegant and sexy!
And I think there are a number of gents on this site that would agree with me!
