| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/17/2007 4:32:20 PM | I have tattoos, you wouldn't know it unless I told you or showed you. Do I care what anyone thinks of them?... let me think about that... ummmm ya NO! I got them for me not for anyone else so I don't give a rats ass what anyone thinks of them least of all strangers who like to judge you and classify you on such trivial matters. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/17/2007 9:00:35 PM | never liked tats on anyone, much less women. I dont find very many of them sexy even on a guy, but on a woman they somehow make her look too manly, much less feminine (to me anyway). No offense to you girls with tats! To each his/her own right? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/18/2007 5:58:50 AM | For the bigger part of my life I have always thought tattoos were hideous, something many people find extremely odd because I am quite into body piercing and have 19 in fact. Anyway I thought they were most disgusting on a woman I tryed to avoid even dating a woman who had them because I disliked them so much. However over the last year or so I have come to see there is a very beautiful and artistic side to such body art. I have noticed myself becoming quite attracted to women with tattoos. Noticing I do like the look of fully covered arms. But that doesnt so much mean tattoos are sexy. I really think it just depends on how it looks on a person. Some people look beautiful covered in ink, say like Kat Von D, and some people the art for really doesnt fit. But yes, in general tattoos can be sexy, and I dont mean discret, or tasteful ones as people refer to. If they are done well and fit the person they are very sexy, no matter how few or how many. If they dont fit, then of course not.
Anyway, I am even now considering some for myself, something I once swore would never happen.

Beauty will increasingly be in eye of the one that beholds you with love. He who looks and finds what is inside your soul, seeing the images you carry within, tattooed on your heart forever. This is the one to be concerned about living with. Bold

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off 30 years from now Posted: 11/24/2007 11:17:15 AM | ok...i just saw a picture on this site of a tattoo on a woman's back.
beautifully done, in a gothic sort of script, it has one MAJOR problem: an incorrectly spelled word. so, this woman will have to go through life wearing a huge mistake.
the phrase was: 'too fast.' (as in speedy, as opposed to the verb 'fast')
she, or the tattoo artist or more likely, neither, had a clue, so it wound up reading: 'to fast.' do you laugh when you see something like this, or cry?

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off 30 years from now Posted: 11/24/2007 5:14:50 PM | | I think I'd still see a small tattoo as being kinda cute, but anything more than that wouldn't turn my head like it does now. Tatoos across the bottom of a girls back are hot, and on the stomach. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 8:52:14 AM | | I agree, people shouldn't judge someone by their tattoos without knowing them. I got several when I was very young... I completely regret them. I, personally do not like the way that they look and feel they take away from my appearance, however, they are there and they aren't going away. You never know a person's story until you know a person. Think about it...how many times has someone seen a beautiful woman, perfectly fit into a bikini walking down the beach and assumed her to be perfect...only to find out....? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 9:13:52 AM | Why don't we all just stop trying to be the judge and jury? Are you kidding me?
It was a simple question on what guys like to see... Nobody is passing judgement! Jeesh!
I personally am interested in a lady for her personality and characteristics, but yes, I prefer a female with no tattoo's... I find them unattractive. Is it ok that us guys have a say in what we like and look for?
Seems like YOU are passing judgement! :-p

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 9:22:32 AM | | Tattoos are a form of self expression, has are body piercings. When done tastfully, they are truley art. That is not to say that one can over do it, because I see that too. I agree with some of the earlyer post, Tattoos on the neck and face are a bit much. I personally have 2 tattoos, both are on my upper arms, and very easly covered. I got my first one at age 16, kids today are getting them even younger. The only advice I can offer here is, remember it might seem cool now, but they are a real pain to get rid of later. Think of future employers, the things you do today to be cool, may keep you from being sucessful in the future. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 9:32:36 AM | Maybe I'm just old fashioned but no thanks.
My personal feeling is that a Tat on a womans body is like grafitti on a work of art, they are just ugly blotch's of ink that only detract from the picture.
So a BIG turn off for me.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 2:08:36 PM | Sorry, but the trailer trash comments really got me. Who are you to say who gets them, where they are from, and why they got them. I am from an upper middle class family and got my first tatoo at 14, a small rose on my lower back. Simply because I had an older brother who was killed in the military and he always called me his lil rose bud. I got my second one (and last one) after my grandfather died when I was 24 and it is of a pendant he gave me when I was a lil girl and I lost the pendant. It was the only gift he ever gave me and had sentamental value. Unfortunetly, I didn't realize that when I was 7. Therefore one is a tribute to my brother and the other is a tribute to my grandfather. One on my upper back and one on my lower back. I am also a working professional and no one at work is aware of them. And my friends who have seen them think I don't fit the 'profile' | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 2:51:53 PM | | i have one on my shoulder that i take some pride in, but if i had to do it over, i'd go tatt-less. although i don't feel one bit freakish or ashamed of it because almost everyone i know has one. the only people i can think of that are tattoo free are my mom, son, ex bf, ex husband, and i also heard mick jagger doesn't have any on his bod | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 3:02:00 PM | | Well I got my first tattoo last August at the age of 55--it's the logo from the movie V for Vendetta and it's big because I didn't want anybody who saw it to wonder what it is. It's on my upper right shoulder so it cannot be seen unless my shoulder is bare. I work with a woman who has a large butterfly tat on the back of her neck as well as on her abdomen and a very little one on her pinky finger and they look great. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 3:06:34 PM | Not a religious person and not a political person but tattoos make me think of what Hitler did to all those innocent people. There are still some survivors alive who still have numbers tattooed on their arms....I hate tatoos.......just my opinion.
Also...Whereas one or two discreet tattoos on a woman may not look too bad... I think a lot is just trashy looking. Tattoos on necks are about the stupidest ones of seen...next to the ones on back of a bald head. Geeze.............

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/10/2007 3:30:14 PM | | My grandkids have seen my tattoos and think they are really pretty. How blessed they are that they have not had their little heads filled with all kinds of junk that adults tend to put in there. They do not judge people by the color of their skin, their handicaps, their differences, or their tattoos! They have good hearts and great attitudes about many things and I hope they do not run into people that will sway them to follow the crowd, but rather be true to their own beliefs, no matter what. Even the Lord gives all of us choices to do with as we see fit. Not all my choices are for everyone, nor theirs for me, and thank goodness for that. how borning life would be without differences. How would we ever learn anything. I have a tattoo that is especially for my grandkids on my upper right shoulder and back. It is a sun with a 1/4 moon in in blowing shooting stars out into the universe. I tell my grandkids to always shoot for the stars they skys the limit. And each star is a vision of each child and reflects such in the color of each ones birthstone. When they first saw it they were very excited that I gave them a unique and special place not only in my heart but in my ink so they will always be right there with me. Each one of them knows which star is theirs and they think its "cool"! And by the way, I am 51 and just got my first ( I have three in all ) when I was 49, and each is special to me in its own unique way. Now all of you that are so quick to judge, turn your heads upsidedown like and etch a sketch and shake out some of the grey matter that has been filled with all the things that make you selfserving, and has given you the right to judge others. Be a free thinker, and if you disagree with someones ideas of what is right and what is wrong, than so be it, but dont be so quick to judge, just agree that its okay to disagree. Thats a much better way to view one another and to be a little more excepting. | |
