| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 9/17/2005 3:43:58 PM | Tatoos or not,I prefer not,but if she has a couple,I won't make a fuss over it,after all,it's her body!
But if her body is full of tatoos,I won't even look at her twice, however if I happen to fall in love with her somehow, then my love will over see that!
Like I said, who you fall in love with may surprise you,so if she happens to have tons of tatoos,I'll love her for who she is!

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 9/18/2005 2:52:35 AM | A total turn-off!
Fads come and go , so will tattoos....
Removing unwanted ones will be big business in the future. Each one will cost 5-10000 to remove...

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 9/18/2005 3:01:08 AM | My gf has it on her lower back (some kind of design she created herself)...she knows I don't like 'em and offered to have it removed. I'll tolerate it...only because she was so nice to have offered.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 9/18/2005 4:08:03 AM | | I don't think anything is better than just plain ol skin. Maybe if you have like a huge blemish, burn, birthmark or somthing, having one might be better in my eyes. I don't know how the tat would turn out tho. It's not a huge enough turn off that I wouldn't get involved with someone over it, unless they really have a lot. U know, where they start looking reptilian etc. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 9/18/2005 11:51:00 AM | Tatoos is like the cover of a book, should never judge untill your read what's inside a person, just like you read a book,70% of the time, you end up liking what you read, not always, but 'till you look inside, just no way to know what you're missing!

To me, if you love who you are, you don't have any desire to permanently mutilate yourself
I would guess that those of us with tattoos don't see it as mutilation. And I got mine precisely because I DO love myself - because loving myself means living life on my terms, and not based on anyone else's expectations. My tats are original, and meaningful to me.
As to the whole grandchildren thing - I didn't get mine til I was over 50 and already a grandmother. Still, I think the rule of thumb should be "nothing that will embarass you at the nursing home."

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 9/18/2005 4:04:30 PM | It's a tatoo - it does nothing to enhance a person but it can become annoying after years of staring at the same thing. I'd like to imagine myself evolving in my taste for art over the years...becoming more refined as I mature. What seemed cool and sexy today will become an annoyance later in life...see: tasmanian devil tattoos LMAO | |

| Tatoos on a women turn me on: Posted: 9/18/2005 5:06:28 PM | I have a tatoo on the lower half of my back. I don't really care if people like it or not. I don't go showing it off and it is hidden most of the time unless i'm bent over or my shirt just goes up a little at the back. I plan on getting another one very soon but probably on my shoulder blade. On a man I think tatoo's are very sexy. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn me on: Posted: 9/18/2005 8:13:13 PM | Well, you all know by my name that I am going to plug tattoos... I am a professional tattoo artist. I am well on my way towards being heavily tattooed. I admire tattoos. They take an act of facing your fear, and minor suffering. I think they are very sexy on women, (as long as it is tasteful and cohesive.) It imparts a sense of rebellion, and independence. Road knowledge. Dues paid. Here is my philosophy- when you are 80, you are going to sag. Tattoo, or no tattoo. You are not going to care about how the tattoo looks, because the skin is going to be something you probably won't be showing off anyway at that point. By that time, it will be too late to do it if you wanted to. So...since we all go around in this body just once...adorn it. Leave lasting reminders of the experiences you have had. Tell a story...not one about how you woulda, shoulda, coulda. Sure there are tattoos that would turn me off, subject matter, plain out shitty work,...but generally I like a woman who is not afraid to go up against the establishment. Just my two cents. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn me on: Posted: 9/19/2005 8:54:06 AM | Oh yeh. I never seen a girl yet and said, "Hey if only she had a tattoo she'd be hot". Same with piercings. I have friends who have a lot of tats. They gonna run out of room someday. Wonder if they will use their forehead.
One thing that people say about themselves with tats are, that they aren't afraid of commitment.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 9/19/2005 11:52:43 AM | | I look at tattoos as adding makeup, jewelery, plastic surgery etc. Everyone likes to add to their looks in ways they feel are attractive. I have two tattoos and I am getting a third this week. All are in noticeable places. (I also will be driving a rig in about six weeks!! (good pay) | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/22/2005 5:29:21 PM | Tattoos are alright, but I get real sick of seeing: butterflies, stars, dolphins, or small lizards.
How about a Black Panther? - Passion of mine, have one on my hip.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/22/2005 6:22:24 PM | I got my tattoos during my time in the military
Each one have special meaning and mark a time in my life that I am tremendously proud of. (None of which I got while intoxicated.) They all marked a specific accomplishment. Some of which were so difficult very few people ever in their lifetime ever achieve.
In addition, you know that if my grandchildren ever ask me about them or why I have them they are in for a good story.
If you get a tattoo for no reason or on a dare, because you were drunk or mad a your parents I feel a little sorry for you.
I see so many young people with “art” with no purpose
Finally Its your body, your choice My body my choice, If your foolish enough to look down your nose at me Because of the ink, I have. I do not want you anywhere near me Because you are to shallow and narrow minded to be in my life.
