| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/16/2008 3:35:27 AM | I agree with the people that understand that BODY ART can tell a story. I have my kids names over a dream catcher on my shoulder. I am proud of my kids and my heritage!! It is excellent work and does not make me look cheap. I have seen clothes that do that much easier than body art lol....... | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/16/2008 10:14:03 AM | Wow after reading some of the replies in this thread, I thought I just hopped a time machine back to the year 1955 or something. lol Tattoos are so mainstream these days I don't see what the big deal is. 15 years ago I felt kind of odd since I was one of the few females in this town with tattoos. (I have 6 of them) Now I look around and a lot of people have them, including one notable female physician in this town who has a large dragon on their back.
I always liked the look of tattoos. I feel if people are going to judge me because I have some ink, and not get to know me--well who needs them anyway? Just my $.02.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/16/2008 11:05:16 AM | | Hmmmm.... I have three small tatoos; all very tasteful and meaningful. One on my hip, one on my shoulder and one on the inside of my wrist; I designed all. (Just got the wrist tatoo last July). Except for the wrist, the other two are covered most of the time. Although I'd never go for a large tatoo, I love the artistry I see on those people who do have them. Well, not so much the skulls and typical 'tramp stamp' but more the traditional asian techniques/style. They're very beautiful. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/16/2008 12:22:43 PM | I like them on both men & women. I don't have one yet but thinking about a small rose or gardenia maybe. Something pretty and in a place that is easily covered since I work in an office.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/16/2008 8:34:02 PM | | depends on the tat and who it's on. some people look great with them others can't pull it off. can't judge people for choices they make with there own lives, I have a few but made my son wait until he was 18 get his first........... | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/16/2008 11:14:59 PM | | Crabstuffing officially rocks my socks!! I love girls like her!! Not in a lesbian way but in a "thats one kick ass chick" kinda way.... | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/17/2008 12:45:42 AM | I have a little body art done. If a woman wants a design or 2/3 as well, I don't have a problem with it. Besides some body art looks hotter on women, than some guys! | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/17/2008 8:37:08 AM | | I think it depends on the type of tattoo. Obviously some people are just to narrow and closed minded. This is 2008, not 1898. Sound slike someone has been with prostitutes since he knows they have tattoos of all their sexual positions. Maybe he needs to be with a better class of women as NOT all women with tattoos are prostitutes or he just needs to stay on the farm rather then a once-a-year night on the town. This one person stated how he gets along with all people, if that were true then why is he bad mouthing women who have tattoos and calling them immature and prostitutes? | |

It's Just your attempt to degrade women with tat's. And who said being a stripper or dancer is'nt a profession? I found your remarks very narrow, judgmental, and closeminded.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/18/2008 12:25:14 PM | | Depends on the tattoo. You'll probably catch flak for going with the cliche 'lower back tattoo'. People just seem to like making fun of them. Back of the shoulder, or on the neckline behind the head is always a good place to start I think. Besides, if you want a tattoo, would you want to be with a guy who finds them disgusting anyway? I love tats on females and find them very sexy indeed, and the so called 'tramp stamp' is one of my personal faves....awful name for it though. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/25/2008 12:23:45 PM | | i like them and my grandad liked his my dad likes his.my mom has 3 small ones on different parts of her body and she looks awome.she had her first one when she was 45 she is now 58.there are some small minded people out there who judge us who like ink and piercings.if they only went to a convention and see all the barristers.policemen,soldires.and office workers.my ink is a story of my life.where i was and what i was doing.if people dont like it thats up to them.just dont judge us by the way we choose to look. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/25/2008 12:54:15 PM | I think I've gotten to the point to where I don't even care if his tattoo has meaning or not, as long as it looks good. Three* of mine have "stories" behind them, but I think only the 4th** really has meaning to me.
*I loved dolphins and I was always a water baby so my first tattoo was a girly dolphins & waves 3/4 band on my right arm. The 2nd, my brother has a gemini symbol on the back base of his neck, and I have my pisces symbol there. My 3rd was when I had two red eared sliders that I looooved so I got this goofy little retarded turtle on my left leg above my ankle.
**I have the word "truth" tattooed inside my mouth.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/26/2008 6:53:53 PM | I agree. I have 3 tattoos, and I'm getting ready to get another one. And no I'm not just agreeing because I am in fact a woman. I think tattoos are a beautiful art and I've seen a lot of very gorgeous women with a lot of tattoos. So can we all just realize that its the 2000's now and accept them? please =] | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/26/2008 7:52:52 PM | Some like them. Some don't. No different than preferring red haired women over blondes.
Myself? I think it's akin to taking a can of black spray paint and using a cut out pattern, spray painting a Playboy Bunny above the navel of the venus de milo. That's just me though. Wtf do I know.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/28/2008 5:16:27 AM | | Normally, I've found that one or two small tattoos are kinda cool. However, I met a woman with her both of her entire arms done, and it looks magnificent on her. Great art work, and she wears it well. I assume she has more tattoos, but haven't bothered to ask. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/28/2008 12:47:11 PM | what exactly is a tastefully placed tat? In my opinion there ugly no matter where you put them but what is tastefully placed as so many call it? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/28/2008 1:10:44 PM | Wow, I always looked at tattoos as taboo. Yet I had a friend who passed away from Cancer just recently. I told him that I was going to get a tattoo. He said that it was my choice, he didnt approve at first. But knowing that he passed away from doing Copahegan. He said that he wouldnt judge me. I told him it was for us. He would always call me his love in German. So I had two humming birds, who smybolize him and me. White honeysuckles meaning life and the words I love you my love, in German. It took 3hrs because of the great detail. I had never had one done. It was so painful, yet it was nothing as to what my friend was suffering before his death. I am glad I had it done. I am no longer ignorant as to those who do have them. Its a pain that can be unbearable. Kudos to those who have them for whatever reason they choose. I will no longer judge(dont really care if I'm judged). I'm 51 first tattoo, and I'm happy. To me its a work of art and my way to remember a lost love forever. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/28/2008 4:56:43 PM | my personal opinion is that if tattoos are all that some one has to offer..ther's got to be more...small ones telling a story in descreet places aren't so bad... being covered in them..across breasts, back, huge ones are a turn-off for me..HEY JUST AN OPINION | |
