| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/22/2005 6:40:56 PM | | I started getting tattooed when I was 17, I am 44 now and still luv it - getting a back piece now, cleaning up some bad tats making more of an oriental scene. I have resisted getting them anyother place than my back for now. My children think it is very kwel and others just say, "oh how old were you when you got that done?" To me it is sexy on men and women - and the pleasure of having them done is wonderful - but an expensive endeavor. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/22/2005 7:02:35 PM | To answer the question "tatoos on a woman turn on or turn off", they don't do anything to turn me on but if it makes her feel good about herself than I could really care less what she has on her body as long as once in a while I'm on her body or she's on mine. Whatever mood strikes us. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/22/2005 7:27:10 PM | I'm kinda weird...normally I would have to say a woman's body is beautiful enough without tattoos, and they ruin the girl's body to me. My "traditional" thinker side. But my sleazy side would be turned on to see maybe a little rose tat on a chick's shoulder blade...as I'm waxin that a$$ from behind oh yeah | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/22/2005 8:06:00 PM | | Personally as a woman, I see nothing wrong with tattoos. I seem them as beautiful art work and they all tell a story. I see them as an expression of indiviuality (yes, you can say alot of people have them. But no two are ever exactly alike, they all hold a different story for the people that wear them.) and I see them as an expression of your soul. I find tattoos are much more sexier than say wearing you pants down to your knees as a "form of individuality", which is really not a form of individualitly because how many people do that same thing to be "cool". No one get's tattoos to be "cool", but it seems to be more frowned upon than all these things people do and wear to be "cool." I have 4 right now, and I plan to get more in the future. And any man that can not accept them, they can not accept me since they are apart of me. And they are not worth my time and energy, because that tells me they are very close minded individuals. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/22/2005 8:10:51 PM | BIG TURN OFF!!!
I have no idea why a woman would want to stain their beautiful body with an ugly tattoo. Really it comes off as trashy, especially the ones in the small of their back aka subbed 'the mark of the slut'. I'm not saying if they have a tattoo then they are that way, but it gives off that first impression. I hate them.

I'm not turned off by them unless they have so many they look like a reptile and/or have one on their forhead or somthing.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/23/2005 9:08:23 PM | Seems to me people DID start getting tattoos so much nowadays in a way because it is looked at as cool or the "in" thing. If the trend hadn't started back in the early 90's or so, doubt that many people would have them. It'd still just be bikers, gang members, sailors and rock stars | |

And here I put my second tattoo there so it would be inconspicuous.

That is a bad, bad, bad visual image considering you look the same and are about the same age as my mother.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/20/2005 12:29:43 PM | I've just decided that should I get a tatoo, it will be something relevant to my life. I will get a UPC code on my buttocks. Think retail door alarms will go off? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/20/2005 12:35:49 PM | I got my first tattoo due to a overwhelming urge to make a statement about having become the mother of an adult. I got a small daisy chain of three daisies and some leaves on my left lower leg about 2 inches long. Right up from the ankle bone. The daisies are pink and white..
I have been drawing daisy chains my entire life everywhere. Its' my signature doodle and design... LOL..
I thought it looked okay but now I'm worried. Most people think its a wash off. LMAO

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/20/2005 1:38:36 PM | My tats are body mods. So are my piercings. And the corsets I wear. Modifications to bring my body into the image I see when I close my eyes and think of ME. I'm becoming the person I want to be.
I find ink on a man sexy. I love discovering a man's artwork. Especially if it means something to them. And I totally agree that people with tats understand commitment. Though they have become a fad recently, they still carry a stigma with them. Getting inked means giving up certain things, being looked at a certain way by some people.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/20/2005 2:01:11 PM | I don't like tattoos much, more so on women than men. I can appreciate good art when I see it, but I'd rather see it on paper, not someone's body.
I definitely don't like when women, or men, have sleeves. And, I don't get why women want huge ones across their lower backs. It's cool looking, just not feminine to me.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/22/2005 9:51:33 PM | | Turn off! I haven't seen a woman that looks better with tats then she would have without. I especially can't stand the 'tramp stamp' lower-back tats that so many women have these days. Blah...what a turn-off if there ever was one. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/22/2005 10:27:03 PM | I have no idea why a woman would want to stain their beautiful body with an ugly tattoo. Wow.. an another idiot born every day... more than 75% of tattoos are symbols of and or tributes to children/animals passed away, friends lost in war, role models, etc. None of those are UGLY and none of those "stain" a body. What a jerk-off statement.
especially the ones in the small of their back aka subbed 'the mark of the slut'. Is that right? Who made you the tattoo police? What a ridiculous statement. So if it's on her coochie it's ok? What a retard.
but it gives off that first impression. To who? Your un-educated, closed mind? I've never heard that EVER.. get a grip dude.

When calling somebody an idiot it helps if you don't type something stupid like 'an another idiot'...if you know what I mean. What the hell is 'an another?'

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/23/2005 11:00:42 AM | ok so i think everyone is entitled to their own opinions on this but i think that even if you don't like them or you would never get one yourself you shouldn't bash the people who do have them or the ones who would like to get one.
If you want to get a tattoo go get one. Who cares what other people think! I have 6 tattoos right now and I am definitly not ruling out the possibility of getting more! I love my tattoos. Each one is something meaningful to me. They were all done by the same artist and are all tastefully done although not all of them are small.
I did not get my tattoos because it was the cool thing to do and actually started getting them before it became a "fad". In fact I as well as my parents got alot of flack for the first one. My parents bought it for me for my 12th birthday. It was something i had been asking for for a long time. Me and my mom got matching shooting stars on our ankles. I don't regret getting any of my tattoos because i love them all and i don't care if other people have problems with them.
I am not trash, I have a good, respectable job, as do both my parents and my brother who also have tattoos. And in response to the thing about giving off a bad first impression, Out of my 6 tats the only one that is immediately visiable is the lion cub on my chest which i am proud to show off but i don't go outta my way to do so. If i happen to be wearing a shirt that shows it off so be it. The rest of my tattoos would only be visible once you got me naked and by the time that happens you hopefully like me enough that the tats won't be a problem!
I think tats on men are incredibly sexy...but i won't discard the possibility of being with someone based on whether or not he has tattoos.
