| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 5/16/2009 6:05:10 PM | | My body is my canvas and i express myself on it. I have four tats, all placed in areas that can be covered (shoulder, small of back, ankle, wrist) and planning at least 3 more. My tats are original designs that reflect time periods in my life or are representative of my personality. They are not random "book" tattoos. A lot of thought about the artwork and placement went into each one. I also have 4 piercings, again, 2 of which are placed on my face but are small and demure. I have yet to meet a guy who has not liked either tats or piercings. In fact, most men find my piercings sexy and are interested in the meanings behind my tats. And if they do have a problem with my body art, I am sorry, but it is who I am, and maybe I am not the one for you, or you for me. It wouldn't matter to me if a man has tats or not. It is his body, his preference. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 5/21/2009 1:52:40 PM | I agree HAHANOW... I have 6 tats and they are my mark. I intend to get more and ALL of my tats have meaning to them. And for anyone who doesn't like them then don't look. Oh and for those that say "what will the grandkids say or think?" Well I will hope that my grandkids will grow up with enough repsect for others not to judge them. And knowing my kids, my grandkids will prolly think tats are cool and maybe go with grandma to get more done or have some of their own....lol | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 5/21/2009 6:08:26 PM | | For my 50th birthday, my birthday present to myself was a tat on my upper back of a symbol of my family...it's the only thing I'd want with me forever....then a few months later, I got another one on my ankle symbolizing the rest of my family...if a man has an issue with my tatoo's...too bad for him! I'm actually thinking about getting another one....a small dog paw print for my beloved Great Dane who passed away. I do it because I LIKE IT. I would not choose to "date" or "not date" a man because of tatoos. And those men that have an issue with dating women with tatoos I find too discriminating, and closed-minded. Just my opinion. | |

I have one on the inner left calf that is in the shape of an open heart... the outline of the heart is all of my childrens names. I didnt get it until January of this year and its my very first one. I know that its not some kind of design I will regret when Im 80 years old.. Everyone that has seen it always comments how beautiful it is and how cool it is to have my childrens names.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 6/29/2009 7:58:48 AM | | Ok so I read this forum only because one of the men that mailed me had it posted in this profile, and I was interested to see what he had to say because he had said he was open minded. So I came here and read that he is not so open minded. To me one that judges a person on if they have tats or not, is like judging the person on their beliefs, their choices in life. So what if I have tats you can’t see or don’t see when we meet and have a great time, are you going to just walk away from what we could have had if you see a tat or are you going to see beyond that? Is a tat a make or break in your relationship? Or are you going to see the person beneath the tat??? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 7/14/2009 6:30:34 PM | | Sort of a turn off. On the other hand, once I get to know a person, I tend not to notice their tattoos. Ultimately it doesn't matter if you are a good person. Hell, I've thought about getting a tattoo a few times. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 7/14/2009 6:39:57 PM | I saw a woman with large polka-dot tattoos on both arms, and neck. I laughed when the school kids crossed the street to avoid her and the guy she was walking with. Her male friend had spikes coming out of his head!
Art is not supposed to look C..R..E..E..P..Y and scare little children. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 8/3/2009 8:32:02 PM | | I AM a grandma, and my tats represent my family...I had my 1st one done for my 50th Birthday, and then a year later, I got my 2nd one, representing my grandkids and my son-in-law. I will continue to add on for each subsequent grandchild. My 2 year old granddaughter loves her grammies tattoo! I chose to have tattoos that represent my family, because they are the only things in life that I would want with me forever. I think of them as tastful body art. | |
