I have 6 tats and they are my mark. I intend to get more and ALL of my tats have meaning to them. And for anyone who doesn't like them then don't look. Oh and for those that say "what will the grandkids say or think?" Well I will hope that my grandkids will grow up with enough repsect for others not to judge them. And knowing my kids, my grandkids will prolly think tats are cool and maybe go with grandma to get more done or have some of their own....lol

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 5/21/2009 6:08:26 PM | | For my 50th birthday, my birthday present to myself was a tat on my upper back of a symbol of my family...it's the only thing I'd want with me forever....then a few months later, I got another one on my ankle symbolizing the rest of my family...if a man has an issue with my tatoo's...too bad for him! I'm actually thinking about getting another one....a small dog paw print for my beloved Great Dane who passed away. I do it because I LIKE IT. I would not choose to "date" or "not date" a man because of tatoos. And those men that have an issue with dating women with tatoos I find too discriminating, and closed-minded. Just my opinion. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 5/22/2009 12:13:49 AM | I think there are tasteful tattoos and there are those that arent. To each their own.
I have one on the inner left calf that is in the shape of an open heart... the outline of the heart is all of my childrens names. I didnt get it until January of this year and its my very first one. I know that its not some kind of design I will regret when Im 80 years old.. Everyone that has seen it always comments how beautiful it is and how cool it is to have my childrens names.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 6/29/2009 7:58:48 AM | | Ok so I read this forum only because one of the men that mailed me had it posted in this profile, and I was interested to see what he had to say because he had said he was open minded. So I came here and read that he is not so open minded. To me one that judges a person on if they have tats or not, is like judging the person on their beliefs, their choices in life. So what if I have tats you can’t see or don’t see when we meet and have a great time, are you going to just walk away from what we could have had if you see a tat or are you going to see beyond that? Is a tat a make or break in your relationship? Or are you going to see the person beneath the tat??? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 7/13/2009 11:41:21 PM | i think tatoos (within a certain limit) are fine... they can be fun, conversation pieces... nice to discover whilst exploring the body ;-)
for some reason an ankle/foot tattoo drives me wild... I think its so sexy

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 7/14/2009 6:30:34 PM | | Sort of a turn off. On the other hand, once I get to know a person, I tend not to notice their tattoos. Ultimately it doesn't matter if you are a good person. Hell, I've thought about getting a tattoo a few times. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 7/14/2009 6:39:57 PM | I saw a woman with large polka-dot tattoos on both arms, and neck. I laughed when the school kids crossed the street to avoid her and the guy she was walking with. Her male friend had spikes coming out of his head!
Art is not supposed to look C..R..E..E..P..Y and scare little children.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 8/3/2009 8:32:02 PM | | I AM a grandma, and my tats represent my family...I had my 1st one done for my 50th Birthday, and then a year later, I got my 2nd one, representing my grandkids and my son-in-law. I will continue to add on for each subsequent grandchild. My 2 year old granddaughter loves her grammies tattoo! I chose to have tattoos that represent my family, because they are the only things in life that I would want with me forever. I think of them as tastful body art. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/6/2010 4:03:25 PM | | WHY DOES A WOMAN GET A TATOO SO SHE CAN CONCIDER HERSELF UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT, WHEN NEARLY ALL GIRLS HAVE THEM? DO THE WORDS "UNORIGINAL" SOUND MORE LIKE IT? I'VE BEEN BEHIND SO MANY GIRLS THAT HAVE THAT SAME OLD GENERIC "BUTT ANTLER" OR" TRAMP STAMP" IF YOU WILL, THAT MOST TIMES I FEEL IT'S THE SAME TATOO ON JUST ANOTHER LOWER BACK. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/16/2010 3:08:24 PM | Depends.... The back hip tattoo thing WAS popular, and I still like it. It accentuates a woman's shape, and draws the eyes. (I may sound like a homo with that but...) Now, if she's got Psychotic castrator or chopper of penises Tattoo'd anywhere... I DOUBT I'd be aroused.. ;-)
Tats on a woman are allright, so long as they're not indicators of a nutcase.. Real example: A buddy of mine told me about his Girlfriend.. Tattoo'd: "F-CK" on one inner thigh, and "OFF!!" on the other... If I saw that?!? ..
Though.... Seeing ONE tattoo can lead ya to ask her: "Got any others?.. where?" That might lead to an interesting conversation. ..

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/17/2010 12:25:19 PM | TATTOO....people
I love em and plan on getting more. Who cares how I'll look when I get really old. I don't plan on getting them to were you can't see my skin anymore - ala aka, Kat Von D. Just enough. I see art and I want that on my skin.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/17/2010 8:42:49 PM | Definitely turn on for me. Certain areas I don't like.
And yeah, who gives a F what they look like when you are old. At this point, everyone in the nursing home will have wrinkley tattoos. I'll just be happy if I can control my own bowels, I certainly won't be concerned with my looks.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/17/2010 8:44:09 PM | | I don't object to tattoos on principle or anything. I just want to know why so many people get unbelievably ugly, trashy looking ones. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/18/2010 8:41:06 AM | | I have ink, and it would be hypocritical of me to not want a woman with some...but I do think there's a limit to how much you can have without it looking trashy, and everyone has their own preference...personally not into women with sleeves or half sleeves....also depends on the tats...some big ones i've seen (entire back was a cherub) are nice and others are nasty. | |
|
| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 2/18/2010 3:17:53 PM | If a tatoo is done in the form of artwork and not just a drawing it can look good, I mean the lines and shading have to be perfect.. also it depends on where they are, what they mean and who its on, I think tat's are sexy but hey that just my personal opinion.... | |
