| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/2/2008 6:53:53 PM | I have three and none of them I regret in the least- not even when I think about grandkids etc. Each of them mean something special and unique to me and I would hope any progeny of mine would have grown up with the ability to respect not only themselves but individuality as a whole. As for girls for tattoos not being interested in guys without them- well, I'd really like to know what stereotype you're working with! Everyone's got their something... | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/7/2008 9:39:29 PM | | I have a theory. A person's educational level is directly inversely proportional to the number of tattoos on their body. The irony is that those of you with a lot of tattoos have no idea what that statement means, but you are pretty sure it is not good. I think everyone should have their IQ tattooed on their forehead. Wouldn't that make dating so much easier? | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/8/2008 10:21:26 AM | I used to be fascinated by tattoos when it wasn't hip to have one, when only sailors, bikers and crazy artist types had them. Now they are ubiquitous and boring.
Do I have one? Yes, I do. It is a little kitty cat. I got it when a friend of mine and I were celebrating her being cancer free for a year.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/12/2008 11:05:57 AM | I don't think tattoos tell very much of a woman's character or personality; people of all temperaments have them. If they're visible, I only perceive how they add or detract to her physical beauty. They become another factor like hair color and style, complexion, figure, style of dress, posture, etc that together determine if I find her attractive. The best I can say about tats is they're neutral. I have seen some that were ugly.
I can think of only one woman's tattoo that made her more attractive in my eyes. It was a vine that began at her wrist and wound around her arm, terminating on her scapula. very finely drawn, only about 25% coverage, each leaf (and there were a lot of them) was very subtly shaded so her underlying pale skin provided highlights. On the fleshy parts of her arm there was faint shadowing around the figure, giving it a 3 dimensional appearance. She said it hurt too much to go through the shadowing on her shoulder blade. She said it took hundreds of hours. It is by far the most beautiful tattoo I've ever seen. And strangely enough, she got it only because she liked the look-no symbolic virtue to it at all.
I guess it's that symbolism that make most wearers satisfied with their cartoons.

I have a theory. A person's educational level is directly inversely proportional to the number of tattoos on their body. I'm fairly certain the vast number of tattoos I've seen in surgery locker rooms blows your theory out of the water. At least I'VE never met any uneducated doctors and nurses.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/13/2008 5:15:33 AM | | The most important thing is that she doesn't get my name tattooed. "Kiss of Death" for the relationship if there ever were one! Might as well just get the red circle and slash tattooed over the name straight away, and save the cost of another session. | |

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/17/2008 8:58:44 AM | It has occurred to me that in former times, tattoos represented membership or identification with a group having a commonality of experience or function-warriors, shamans, tribes, criminal gangs, etc.
Now it seems the group most represented is the tribe of the tatooed.

Easy for you. Your tattoo of 71 is less work than another person three digit tattoo.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 11/21/2008 6:22:14 AM | I think when I'm 70 years old, I'll have more important things to worry about than my tattoos, like...not dying.
If my kids, grandkids don't like them, they'll be cut from my will...little **stards.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/4/2008 2:22:30 AM | | I cant see why a woman would want to ruin a perfectly good set of boobs with a tattoo....blows my mind....thought: someone has to put it there. So they dont think much of there body to show it to strangers.....no thanks, ill keep the simple girls. | |
|
| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/4/2008 2:30:13 AM | I have a girlfriend, wonderful marriage forever, who got a tattoo on her backside that says "I love you Adam" - which is her husband's name. I really think it turns him on. BTW, they are grandparents already. | |

Because in her opinion it did not "ruin" any thing.
So they dont think much of there body to show it to strangers.....no thanks, ill keep the simple girls.

| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/4/2008 7:50:55 AM | | Tattoos on a woman can be very sexy and a definite turn-on. But if over done, they can place a woman in the fun to date category as opposed to marriage material. | |
|
| Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off Posted: 12/4/2008 8:42:49 AM | i love tats on a woman but like anything else they can be overdone. "carefully placed and in gracious taste" is my motto. | |
