| DATING OUTSIDE YOUR RACE Posted: 11/17/2008 11:21:56 AM | Actually kind of a bummer that this question still exists... Like previously posted by others, there truly is only one race, the human... So then I guess you would be talking about animals or plants maybe?? No not for me | |
|
| DATING OUTSIDE YOUR RACE Posted: 11/17/2008 11:43:10 AM | Gotta love all these politically correct responses....I guess if one gets desperate enough they'll date anything and anybody......Not Me, I find myself attracted to only one catagory of humans.......********* all the way.....Ya Baaaaby...... | |

| DATING OUTSIDE YOUR RACE Posted: 11/17/2008 11:53:29 AM | My niece dated and married outside her race. She found an OSU grad. Was a problem last year leading up to the big game, but, they overcame that. With a suggestion from her uncle, he not only said it, but, yelled out "Forever LSU". Uncle (me) slipped Viagra in his drink. She kept legs closed till he said it Cajuns are smart people h | |

| DATING OUTSIDE YOUR RACE Posted: 11/17/2008 4:04:56 PM | | Yes, I would and have. I have a beuatiful daughter that is multiracial. I am down for whatever. | |
|
| DATING OUTSIDE YOUR RACE Posted: 11/18/2008 6:03:19 PM | | I agree with you. I have nothing against dating outside my race either. | |
|
| DATING OUTSIDE YOUR RACE Posted: 11/18/2008 7:41:24 PM | we are all multiracial,multi-talented, multi-cultured, multi ethnic and some people are really just playing so ignorant with it.
I am so thankful that the majority of us these days have open our eyes wide and taken in the world of the Human Race and welcomed with open arms our likeness and variations and appreciated our individualities and similarities.
That is what makes us such a beautiful world. Its such a great awakening when you have opened your mind and learned something new from different regions and peoples of the world. When you think you have experienced it all something new and exciting is presenting itself to you.
What a wonderful world that this could be IF we just push together instead of pull part.

| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 5/12/2009 9:22:13 AM | and you know what... those "mental giants" that wanted to imposs their senseless hatred towards you at the drive-in --- are probably "Christians". Just like the old Klan and new business suit wearing ones, they hold their bible in one hand, and spew hatred and all of their hypocritism.
A person's skin or nationality does not make him/her better than the next. Ignorance and intelligence comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
|
| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/5/2009 7:20:12 PM | ok, let's agree to disagree here...not all people involved in bigotry or hatred are Christians....I consider myself a non-denominational Christian, some of my views would probably be looked at oddly by some traditional denominations. But like other posters said here, its all the human race...If my cats can like dogs, I think liking another human shouldn't be too much of a stretch, regardless of skin color... | |

| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/5/2009 8:38:10 PM | I agree Floridian.
I'm from a nonreligious family with Jewish heritage and my father was very against interracial anything. I have a cousin who married a black man and he wasn't happy about that.
The issue of ME dating outside my race never came up because I just never met anyone where it was an issue, but personally I feel if I met someone I liked a lot it shouldn't matter, but that just hasn't happened. What I would do if the situation came up, I can't really say as I believe so many factors would have to go into it other than just that.
I found it interesting most of the posters on this thread are without pics.
oh... almost forgot...
I prefer white, skinny to medium build litty titty white woman..... So THAT explains everything!

| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/5/2009 9:08:17 PM | Ohhh...a controversial thread. *rubs hands together*
This is no different than a thread that asks: Would you date an obese person? Would you date someone 20 years older or 20 years younger? Would you date an atheist? Would you date someone of the same sex? Would you date your uncle/aunt? (got to get that hoedown party out of my mind).
It is all about PREFERENCE.
If you choose not to date one of the above or one of a different race it does NOT mean you are a bigot. It simply means you know what you are attracted to.
I, personally, am attracted to white men, 6'6" tall. I would like him to really be bad at pool and darts (or pretend to be) so I can beat him some of the time. Being a gentleman is a must. He must smile (not laugh) when I throw a temper tantrum so I get over it quickly. He must be able to eat anything I cook and smile and say "this is really delicious" as he scrapes off the burnt parts.
Anyone know where I can find such a man???
To seriously answer the question: I have never dated outside my race and have never considered it.
Is this where I should needlessly say " but I have black friends".
I really dislike this expression but I believe in it... whatever floats your boat.
|
| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/5/2009 9:17:59 PM | Naughti......you always crack me up...you have such a way with words and I love your definition of a hillbilly(me)!!
I have to agree with Naughtical,I have never dated outside my race and it really is all about 'preference'....My own 'preference' is men at least 5'10 or taller,as I just am not comfortable with a man shorter than me,although I have seen some good looking ones!!!
|
| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/6/2009 9:39:55 AM | | I dated a man from Jamaica so..... I guess the answer is yes I would | |
|
| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/6/2009 1:30:13 PM | | the only "race" you should worry about dating outside of is the "human race" | |
|
| |
| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/7/2009 2:53:33 PM | | I date within the human race. The type of human race doesn't matter much to me. What is more important would be a persons core values, personality, beliefs, actions, our chemistry....for me the physical attraction can come in many shapes, sizes and colors. | |
|
| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/7/2009 6:32:38 PM | | The way i see it is whatever preferance suits you.. People now tend to look more inward at what makes them happy than race i think. that is in most cases. | |
|
| DATED OUTSIDE MY RACE Posted: 8/7/2009 7:41:45 PM | The Human Race???
Yes...we are all of the human race and that is a nice, politically correct thing to point out. But... the human race has many different cultures, beliefs and COLORS.
Here in central FL (which may be the redneck capital of the world) I see an abundance of black men with white women. Often the women have many "baby daddies". It seems to be a fad with young white women to have a black boyfriend and have his baby. If he is in jail it seems to be a reason for them to get a tattoo and have even more bragging rights. I also see many Mexican men with white women...they are usually overweight and have bleached blond hair and are older than the men they are with. Desperation? That is my first thought.
Stereotyping? Sure. True love? Maybe.
I hear the moans and groans now.
I am not a racist and I am not saying I think we should all stick with our "own kind". However... the majority of us like to stay in our "comfort" zone. Having a relationship with someone "different" than us takes us out of that. The "What will my family and friends think?" mentality kicks in.
Some do it just to be rebellious.
Some do it for love To those of you: I wish you all the happiness in the world.

| DATING OUTSIDE YOUR RACE Posted: 8/7/2009 8:45:47 PM | Do what makes you happy. Who gives a crap what other people think.
To misquote a movie I can't remember the name of.
"I believe in the progressive racial deconstruction of the social ladder. Everybody f#$% everybody until we're all the same color. "
Alot of truth in that statement. The only way the world will ever be truly non racist. When we all are a nice shade of the same color. Of course the human race would find something else trivial to fight about I'm sure...
