Why is it the Left Hand Path?

I'm a lefty. But I'm the opposite of a Satanist.

I find this a huge oppression of lefties everywhere. It's handism.

Sorry, but these people are just trying to sound clever. But really, they're just picking on us lefties.


Lefties are sinister

I don't know why the terms right hand path and left hand path are used. Right hand paths are supposed to be altruistic while left hand paths are supposed to be egoistic. However, it's questionable wether there really are any right hand paths. Do people act altruistically because it's the right thing to do, or because they want to get into Heaven, avoid Hell, look good in the eyes of the public, get a warm fuzzy feeling inside, hope for a reward, etc.?
