"Park" my a**! I OWN the land my tin cigar box is parked on! LOL! But I'd rather be considered "trashy" (yeah... it's in my profile) than an over-opinionated, under-informed, judgmental, pretentious snob with a stick up my azz that I only remove to prod and aggravate others with cuz that's soooo much more attractive than tattoos and piercings... NOT! Lazer removal may be painful but it's cheap compared to the decades of psychotherapy some people need.

Yeah, I agree. A young lady might like the look of a reptile tattoed on her boob at 24.. At 44 when she is chastizing her teenaged daughter for getting her vagina studded.... well it's a different set of rules isn't it??

This body art stuff is junk as far as I'm concerned...

I have a tattoo and although it isn't on my breast, it was something that I did for myself and has a great deal of personal meaning to me.

The bottom line on this is that people get tattoos for them selfs. What they get and where they get it is for them and them alone so if you don't' like boobie tats, just don't date someone who has one.

I am going to have to disagree with you. In my humble opinion there is nothing sexier than a well placed tattoo on a woman.

Love the tatt'd ladies...

You know this is just such a silly thread. I know it does not apply to ALL...am not saying such. But just about every man I have dated, who was anti ink before...his interest piqued in tats, after. I guess seeing some up close and personal, intrigued them??

I know this thread is about Tats on Tatas...and has curved into tats in general and even piercings (sorry!)....but wow...sooo surprised with how so many can form negative opinions about a PERSON, because of a TAT!

Stigmas! If you wear a striped polo, you must be a DUMB jock! If you have facial hardware, you must be a NASTY punk! If you are conservative, you must be a PRUDE in need of an enema! I mean, every single one of us could be judged in SOME way...initial impressions....IGNORANT.

I put a tattoo of a rose and my daughter's name on my chest. She died and I wanted to do something to always keep her close to my heart. It might sound weird to some people, but it was a really big deal for me. And I spent a long time picking out the rose that I wanted and how I wanted her name drawn- It was just like picking out her casket and her flowers for the funeral. If someone ever told me that they thought of me like trailer trash because of my tatoo, I would be extremely pissed.

can you do me a favor and define what trailer trash is?

if women really cared about what guys thought about tattoos and piercings i'm sure more of them wouldn't be getting tattooed. (which doesn't seem to be the case these days)

but seeing how a majority of us don't care, doesn't change who we are, doesn't change our sexual reproductive system...

why does it matter?

Like i said in previous posts on this topic... are you willing to throw away a spectacular chance in love because of your biased opinions?

maybe you should get off your soapbox and put the biases behind here and you too can find someone.

i'm not trying to diss anyone or make anyone feel insignificant but it's really sad to see on here the constant critisism and name calling and blatant disregard for other peoples' feelings and/or choices.

i guess you're the cookie type variety(guys who are hating the tattoos on here). everything has to be molded and be exactly the same and conform to what is "normal" versus actually being yourself.

Not everyone is interested in being a boring stick in the mud. :) Some of us like colours and like to take chances in life, perhaps even... oo dare i say it? BE HAPPY?!

anyway.. that's my rant of the day.

I can't speak for all areas of the country, but generally in the midwest, trailer trash are people who reside in trailer parks, usually older single wides packed onto small lots. Most usually prioritize alcohol and cigs over food and paying bills. Personal hygene isn't very important either. Not all but a large number are uneducated, abuse substances, alcohol, drugs, cigs, etc.... and are employed at places like gas stations and restaurants. Often you will find a mid 70s to mid 80s car on blocks in front of or next to the home. In the St Louis area they are also known as hoosiers or reside in JeffCo or south St Louis. Many have arrest records.......have kids by mulitple partners......and have tattoos.

This is just what I have seen, and as a contractor I have bid jobs in alot of homes and this stereotype has proven to hold water, not saying it's necessarily right in all cases, but there seems to be a reason behind it

I am embarrassed to claim you as a fellow Missourian, Backcheck. I am especially mortified that you will bid jobs and then backstab the people paying you with their hard earned, "gas station wages" by stating such garbage.

There is a company called ARC, which is basically a mobile home conglomerate...building residential communities all over the US. Mobile homes are affordable alternatives to home buying...superb for first time home buyers as well as wonderful for military personell or those who need short term residence because they transfer/move often for their career. Check out some of the mobile homes...many put a house to shame!

I purchased a NEW mobile home because I had two weeks to get settled after flooding out of a house, before my childrens school resumed. I intended it to be for a year or so, but it was so affordable and comfortable for a single parent of four...that I am still here, long after my children have flown the nest, 11 years later.

Guess what? I am COLLEGE educated, darlin'! And ALL of my children graduated high school and went on to higher educations. None of us work in gas stations or restaurants, though my youngest (21) son does work at a Circuit City while he continues his education. Two of us five, smoke....I just quit. We ALWAYS have food on the table...in fact, my family Christmas dinner would have probably made yours look like a freaking Banquet frozen dinner. All of our vehicles are within 2 to 7 years old...and three of five of us (the girls...LMAO!) have tattoos!

Oh...guess what? My home is PAID FOR. :O) And I am not so grounded to it's location that I cannot easily sell it (which by the way....do to all of the improvements and maintenance on it...it was appraised and has not lost any of it's value...another myth debunked if you maintain correctly!) or move it. Buying a mobile home is actually an INTELLIGENT choice in today's sh1tty housing market.

Oh...and about 75% or more of my neighbors can attest to the same sort of history....none of the IGNORANT STIGMAS you attached! I will ascertain that when I need any contractual work done...that YOU are not with the company I choose. Would not want you getting my trailer trash cooties on ya'!

I didn't say it applies to all. I'm saying that is what at least most of the people I know refer to as when they use the term trailer trash. And as a contractor, I don't do repairs on mobile homes. When I pull up, if it wasn't stated when the appointment was maid, if it is a mobile home, I refer them to someone that does work on mobile homes. As far as other work, we bid everything by the book, use top quality materials, and have references a mile long. The majority of the people I do work for expect very clean cut people, and thats what they get. I don't have anyone smoke, and if a sub has someone, I don't care if the owner smokes, they do not on the job..period. Tattoos will be covered, my clientel is put off by it so they will remain hidden or that person will not be on my job site. Most of my customers are very conservative, so its something I will not allow. Feel free to do as you wish.....I was just stating what at least the people I know and am around refer to as trailer trash, and I can show you MANY examples, mobile homes are no longer even allowed in Jeff City, the few remaining are only there till zoning can get them out. Congratulations on your kids, I wish them well on thier future endevors. I have seen the some of the newer manufactured housing at shows, they have improved over the years, not to what I am used to building, the last one was a 4500 sq ft timber frame at the Lake....well over half a mill. Again, I said old single wides crammed together on tiny lots.... as far as moving, I don't plan on going anywhere, the kids are in great schools and excelling...like the area. Both are in the gifted program and my son is planning on MIT and my daughter Boston College, though at 12 and 10, they have a little time to change thier minds (I know my son won't ). There are two trailer parks in Columbia that make the news two to three times a month with drug busts, shootings, all sorts of illegal activities....there are places that are shining examples of the stereo type. There are exceptions to everything....but there are many examples that support the term.

As far as the backstab comment, I don't have to like or even approve of the people I work for, all I have to do is a good job at a fair price....which I do. Fully licensed and insured. And I've worked for some wealthy, well educated bible thumping people with very large expensive houses that are the scum of the earth. My job isn't to apporve of them, its to do the job the to the best of my ability and not use inferior materials or improper building methods. I don't work on mobile homes because they do not use standard building practices, the newer ones are much closer, but he calls I usually get are for older ones. Business and personal likes and dislikes don't mix....and I've worked for some restaurant owners, in all of the years, I've never worked for a conveinent store clerk or server at a restaurant....just never got calls from them, lots of state employees, doctors, lawyers, architects, retirees, various busiensses....just not them, and if I did, I would price the job just the same and do the same quality work.

It just makes me sad that so many people on here have the audacity to make crude and uncalled for comments about a persons choice of decorating themselves.

Like i've said many times before.. go ahead and post your disdain. But when you start posting stereotypes and name calling .. you're going beyond a general statement.

As a woman it hurts to see that on a dating site where people are here to meet a match or possible date and people are throwing words out towards women like slutty, whore, trailer trash and the like... it really puts some things in perspective.

I would really hope you wouldn't judge a person by their art but rather on who they are as an individual. In the end the other stuff is just surface noise and if you can't look past that perhaps you're in the wrong place.

Someone is always going to have something, whether it be a piercings, tattoos, hair cut/colour/no hair ... fashion wise. If someone choses to be different and not conform to boring norms all the power to them. Perhaps think of the other person and stand in their shoes before you go making generalized statements and stereotypes.

It's not a nice feeling having to defend yourself especially to a sex that claims to have an appreciation for the female form. It's still there... it's just decorated a little differently.

Unless of course you want us to start creating some nasty stereotypes and theories about you as a person should you chose to post negativity? - i dunno, my two cents. not worth much but just some stuff to chew on.

Please be kind... it's not like your talking to pals or guy friends... these are women who have emotions and feelings. I'm not asking you to walk on eggshells. Just be respectful at what you post and perhaps maybe even think it through before hitting that post button.
