Posted: 7/31/2006 3:05:32 PM | Why do people put tatoos anywhere? For that person it's the same appeal as someone else who puts it on their ankle, lower back, waist-line, foot, shoulder, etc, etc.

So I got me sylvester the cat
On my left breast it showed (except when it snowed)
And proudly display it I did
As my perky young breasts start to sag guys did jest

Now the years have gone past and my 'perks' didnt last
And the tatoo has slid down my middle
With the wrinkles and sags, my boobs look like old bags
An sylvester looks like some weird riddle
When at 60 I found that my marriage ran aground
And redating again I did enter
On that first passionate date, when we started to mate
He said, "What's that? The mark where I enter?"
For by then you can see, it was down near my knees
And sylvester was bald and threadbare
Just a smudge on a sag of that wilted old bag
Poor ol bug*er just sat there and stared.
I awoke with a start, with a hard beating heart
For the spectacle scared me half mad
Thank god was a dream but to me it just seems
That a tat, on a t*t's a tad bad.

I have both of mine tatted. Pics are on my profile. If I wear a low cut top and feel like showing em off, I do. One's a double set of pawprints (tribute to my dogs) the other is a evil heart (cute heart with a devil's tail, and horns) self explanatory I think.
I have 11 tatts, most of them visible. I love em and plan to get alot more. I've found over the years, very few people, male or female, have a problem with them.
Guess it's a personal choice. | |

Really? Hmmmmmmmmm ~ I guess that's your opinion also. Maybe that is like saying most women don't care what most men like or dislike, we've sort of come into our own and now are free to make ourselves happy and don't have to worry about what any man deems acceptable, attractive or appealing.
You are more that entitled to your opinion ~ I was merely pointing out that stereotypes are outdated. (My mother has a tatt, she's now 62, got it when she was 58. It's absolutely stunning ~ and she is the epitome of class. Most would never even know it's there, until they get a glimpse of her in a thong...and there it is!! Go Mom!!!!)

I have 6 myself.... and not once has the thought of putting a speck of ink on my boobs crossed my mind.
I love ink and women and men with ink but I dunno, ink on the boobs to me doesn't look appealing. I've placed mine on spots where it's still going to be identifiable 60 years from now.
I have nothing against women who choose to place their choice of tattoo on their breasts, it's certianly is a personal choice... I would never go far as to say it looks trashy, because making that comment about someones personal choice shows little class in itself. | |

It's in honor of someone I admire-since it ended up bigger and further over than I had thought it would be, it's become a public statement by default.
I have to say, I've had more people comment on it than I ever expected.. best question: "If that's the down button, where' the up?"
And it does get you attention.. I was walking in Bristol, England... minding my own business when several men from a TV show approached me... (My D ended up on the telly!! lol) | |

Humans are visual creatures and many people see tatoos on women or men and think something negative. I see them on women and you want to assume they have some trashy qualities. You see them on men where they are on the neck and up and down the arms and you want to think of those as some kind of criminals or bad ass bikers who are up to no good. I think it is funny when you see a woman come out in public with a tatoo on the boob and she is showing it off thinking it is the sexiest thing in the world. I have been with groups of friends and we have talked and think it is a turn off. Hell if you dont believe me read some of the answers from guys on here. | |

and well my friends ...
it would seem the girls with em like em
and most guys don't
hmmmm oh well .... that's the way it goes.
tat fans sure get defensive though
when somebody says what they think about em
[the tats that is]
there is a certain air that immediately arises
now finding one as a discreet surprise
hidden from most eyes ... is different
still .... there are lots of immediate negative feelings in so much of the population relating to tattoos ... it does make one wonder ... why?
rebellious attitude ... comes to mind.
there is no real originality in 99% of the tats.
they are just off the wall or out of a book
simply done by someone trying not to be a crook
its a way to express some drunken time
and hardly ever rhymes.
Young think differently from the old
maybe its a map to remember some gold
lock a moment in time
or pass it between lines
I know so many people with tats
its like wearing different hats
except its always there
its impolite to stare
or make snide remarks too often
so you won't hear complaints
from suitors or saints
but back in the back of my mind
and I'm not alone I find
old ideas plant seeds of thought
about personalities and what is not
desired on me or even in my sight
its always a bit of a slight
now I know that bites but hey
what can I say ... that's the way
the ball bounces ...
some things come in ounces
Oh yea and that blue ... suck as a colour too
so does most reds ... their a little bit dead
now the greens I like better
still in most normal weather
I vote ... no.
ps.... don't you just love those tattoos on the tailbone
I always think they should say
"Enter at Own Risk"
. . . . . or . . . . .
. "Dead End"
