| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/1/2005 10:40:04 AM | Faces appear
Faces appear in many ways in the nick of time as you had prayed faces appear when you least likely desire only turning out to be your hearts fire faces appear in the most awkward of moment leaving you free of any assoilment faces appear in the deep dark of the night faceless but somehow feeling just right faces appear when you need them the most giving you guidance then disappear like a ghost faces haunting you in your darkest dreams making you fall to your knees. Faces come to you disguised as a friend only to make you regret trusting again faces turn your heart into stone waiting for another to come chip at it which should have been left alone faces come in many sorts and shapes the one face that is hard for you to escape is the one staring back the one you forgot.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/1/2005 10:41:18 AM | Lost Sight
You say that you loved me, how could you have? You sheltered me from the world not even to allow me to out with my friends Your jealousy suffocated me your infidelity took on a new end. You took it all from me and rarely ever gave in return Not allowing me to grow within myself Not trusting me the way I did you For that your not worthy of my most inner thoughts nor my intimacy. I told you I couldn't take it anymore You gave me all of the blame You lost sight of what it once was.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/1/2005 4:41:27 PM | Wisdom of love
Cradling the girl in me, which was only yesterday needing my father to tell me that everything would be all right, not to cry he would be here for me tomorrow when I needed to learn, more then the surface of wonderment, digging deep finding that soul that was endless beyond the years, that was when you left me and no more tomorrow's, only in my heart would he ever be it was my life for me to find, he would be in my heart for tomorrow and all of my time just when it all was beginning stood the forces of evil, waiting as I stepped out the door on my own falling into the pit of darkness, trying to grasp onto a lifeline, digging my nails into the earth only getting dirty in my search, finally comes saves my knight, the one I've been waiting for my entire life my life just begun, my eyes opened my soul is yearning he's my saving grace, deep within my heart he's already won the race, time ever after in the highest place, within my search I've found the light of love, I now know why what you meant about the Rose, caring and nurturing forever a bloom, Thank you my dearest father for the wisdom, it is you I have to thank for the love I found in my soul.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 5:24:39 PM | If my love were here, I’d hold his face gently in my hands, And smother his face with small kisses so sweet the angels would sigh, His eyes would be the shallows strong love is built upon, The strength of his hands, something I could lean on without breaking.
If my love were here, I’d tell him the depth of my soul and whisper my song, And his eyes would dance with fire.
If my love were here, I’d waste no time for every moment is precious, We’d share the smallest of tasks and wonder why God didn’t give us more, The mundane would be no more. If only my love were here.
Sigh on the breath of a dying vow, Something so precious it kisses the night, And the wind sighs its pleasure. If my love were here, he’d have no doubt, He would be loved forever.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 5:40:43 PM | At last, when all the summer shine That warmed life's early hours is past, Your loving fingers seek for mine And hold them close—at last—at last! Not oft the robin comes to build Its nest upon the leafless bough By autumn robbed, by winter chilled,— But you, dear heart, you love me now.
Though there are shadows on my brow And furrows on my cheek, in truth,— The marks where Time's remorseless plough Broke up the blooming sward of Youth,— Though fled is every girlish grace Might win or hold a lover's vow, Despite my sad and faded face, And darkened heart, you love me now!
I count no more my wasted tears; They left no echo of their fall; I mourn no more my lonesome years; This blessed hour atones for all. I fear not all that Time or Fate May bring to burden heart or brow,— Strong in the love that came so late, Our souls shall keep it always now!

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 5:48:27 PM | | IIf I were his lover, I'd wade through the clover Over the fields before The gate that leads to his door; Over the meadows, To wait, 'mid the shadows, The shadows that circle his door,For the heart of my heart and more. And there in the clover Close by him, Over and over I'd sigh him: "Your eyes are as brown As the Night's, looking down On waters that sleep With the moon in their deep" . . .If I were his lover. IIIf I were his lover, I'd wade through the clover Over the fields before The lane that leads to his door; I'd wait, 'mid the thickets, Or there by the pickets, White pickets that fence in his door, For the life of my life and more. I'd lean in the clover—The crisper For the dews that are over—And whisper: "Your lips are as rare As the dewberries there, As ripe and as red, On the honey-dew fed" . . .If I were his lover to whisper. IIIIf I were his lover, I'd wade through the clover Over the field before The pathway that leads to his door; And watch, in the twinkle Of stars that sprinkle The paradise over his door, For the soul of my soul and more. And there in the clover I'd reach him; And over and over I'd teach him—A love without sighs, Of laughterful eyes, That reckoned each second The pause of a kiss, A kiss and . . . that is If I were his lover to teach him. | |

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 5:57:52 PM | A song I wrote in the first person for a female friend of mine that was getting married:
Compassion united on this holy day Others would love to feel the same way Minds intertwined as I walk down the aisle Push back the tears; Remember to smile Receiving the ring as each vow is told Outstretched hands for all to behold Marriage will last forever I'm sure In heart and in soul our love will endure So now we're off to start out new life Each second grows fairer, for now I'm a wife

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 5:58:54 PM | I want to watch the sunset I want to see it in your eyes I want to feel it in your body An erotic passion in disguise I want to hear the waves Crash angry on the shore I want to feel your hands explore me While all around us the water pours. I want to feel the sand between my fingers Smell the salt in the air I want to feel your tongue go through me Secret places if you dare! I want to feel the heat Of a restless summer night I want to kiss you softly Beneath the pale moonlight I want to meet the stars That lie hidden in the depth Baby will you take me To watch the sunset ? | |

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 6:00:52 PM | WISHES
Why do you come to me in dreams? When you’re not here the silence screams
To hold you and to touch you to kiss you and caress you To look into your eyes so true and tenderly make love with you
Iwant to hold you oh so tight make love with you throughout the night and show to you how you are worth more than the treasures of the earth
I want to kiss you everywhere your eyes--your lips--your cheeks--your hair
And when I kiss your other lips and tease you with my fingertips I want to see your body flush with that pre-orgasmic rush And on the nights you come with me we’ll reach the heights of ecstasy
Sweet dreams everyone | |

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 6:15:30 PM | Beautiful Waves
You rocked my heart like a wave hitting a rock in a storm without effort it guided you closer rolling in leaving me bare faultless without control sensing I knew what would eventually take place the waves went beyond my control giving in and riding the wave brought me closer to your shore seeing there is a destination not far in the distance never knowing how beautiful a wave could feel for the first time allowing such a thing to pull me in and let me go whirling pressure rolling inside letting go of all my expectations landed me safe with you.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 6:23:15 PM | Letting it go and giving in.
Finally finding the one who was meant knowing he was heaven sent continued conversation flowing without even trying from one moment to another missing the ones in between emotions filled with nothing but life escaping from the reality that's inevitable questions that were forced upon your head instead of letting go it builds a bridge unless you let go and let it flow with the raging river there will be no chance to cross that bridge.
To the life you dream of my life that I dream of is with you not of the past but of looking forward without knowing if you'll let go of the pain and the past.
I stand here bearing my heart and soul left naked for all to see from one moment to another confusion sets in making me wonder if it is I you seek, perhaps it was never me but an image of what you wanted all a long.
Understanding of letting go of the past is one that I know instead of understanding it and embracing that is what who made me what I am today what brought us together from the very beginning things can be simple only if you let them don't push away from the desire you feel in your heart I will always be here for you my dear willing to lend my friendly ear put your head upon my shoulder let go of those feelings of losing control.
I will be your anchor heavy in the wind Just as you are afraid as am I Not wanting to hurt yet again deep down inside keeping you at an arms distance is safe letting you in to feel my embrace I allowed and now you push away from me leaving me naked for all the world to see frail and vulnerable when I was beginning to feel strong.
The words just flow as I write you this poem coming from my heart not the past the past is just that and trying to let go is what your afraid of this I now know I relish your heart as I cradle it close to mine never wanting to let go but only leaving me thirsty for more.
You don't think I love you but am seeking a quest that couldn't be farther from what I feel inside you breathed life back into my cold heart giving me a new found view of life as it could be the life I've always wanted and deserving well it may be it is up to you and the desire you seek ask yourself those questions that were posed unto me I will be here waiting to hear what you say. No matter the answer know my feels stand true as I speak them to the world naked for you.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/2/2005 7:06:52 PM | I sat and stared but did not speak Those hungry eyes had seared my soul My head a-spin my knees were weak And how I feared I'd lose control
A bead of sweat upon my brow My lips gone dry as well they might I'd lost my grip and knew somehow I needed flee into the night
I ambled out that barroom door The air now cool upon my face But in a wink I knew the score The ghost of you was in that place
I stumbled down that darkened street A haunted man and nothing less Who'd chanced again a ghost to meet Who somehow wore your favoured dress
And me in town for just a night A night that's all and nothing more But then that face had come to light My wounds returned to make me sore
She had your hair and that was clear Her rosy cheeks were yours as well Her scent was strong it brought a tear That was like lead the way it fell
She had your eyes they burned like coals Her fingernails were ruby red The kind that tear and torment souls That they would walk among the dead
She had your voice I heard her speak Oh cruel night she called my name My quiet self let out a shriek My heart now burst into a flame
She had your laugh I heard her mock My face now wet like morning dew I rushed yet more upon that walk I would escape that ghost of you
Another bar the door was wide I sauntered in to sit a spell But there she sat, yes, there inside And here I was once more in hell
The devil's brew I guzzled down The reaper there with me awhile He said he knew I was in town And set me up it was his style
That night I heard the music fade The while I drowned in devil's brew But such it was the pact I made That I be rid - for good - of you

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/3/2005 5:13:24 AM | ECSTASY
On crumpled sheet the bedroom heat That permeates the air With sounds and sighs and slapping thighs Our love now takes us there
With grunt and groan it’s moan for moan No stopping of the flow We push and shove and words of love Are urging us to go
Our bodies burn each one in turn Cries out in ecstasy With heart and soul we’re on a roll That goes on endlessly
Our love is such the slighest touch And sparks begin to fly But it’s a need we need to feed And love’s the reason why

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/3/2005 8:27:26 AM | Poetic now that was hot and passionate wonderful simply wonderful. | |

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/3/2005 9:03:21 AM | A RACE YOU’D RUN AGAIN
I doubt that I could love you more Who fell for you one autumn day When life unveiled what was in store That I should hear like none before Such words as those you were to say
The cherry wine was ruby red When at the door I greeted you I heard but some of what you said Such thoughts to run now through my head I was as lost at what to do
There was no doubt this was the deal The cards were dealt for us in style The quickened pulse will make you feel An instant flash, you know it's real The picture plain, it's in your smile
The years have flown and here we are As eager now as ever then An eye that gleams to seem a star To know inside you've come this far A race you know you'd run again

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/3/2005 9:05:12 AM | MY LADY DREAMS
My lady dreams and music fills the air – The angels come with symphonies so sweet: The harps are hot, the sound is everywhere, Each single note to bring me to my feet.
I’m made to dance upon this splendid night – The symphonies so stirring to my soul: There is this spot, I’m standing in the light, And well I’m cued for taking up the role.
The dance, of course, is but a metaphor – Such calm inclined to features on her face: It seems to me this person I adore Has now, instead, an angel in her place.
My lady dreams and heaven high is heard, With God no less now speaking every word.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/3/2005 10:54:09 AM | LOVE’S ETERNAL SEAL
I did not write your name upon the sand The tide to come, erasing of the script If yet there was potential in my hand I made but marks, the rest I duly skipped
I did not write your name across the sky The wind to stir and scatter like a puff If yet my eye was trained above so high I saw you there and could not get enough
I did not write your name upon the page The errant hand a menace to the book If yet my words were coming well of age And you were there, no matter where I’d look
Inside my soul your name I finally penned And there it’s etched, forever, without end

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/3/2005 12:18:40 PM | Faith
Cling to my pillow holding it tight knowing that the feelings I feel are just right I close my eyes and picture you there I look for you and only feel your stare Desperate for change not knowing the way Keeping my faith resuming I pray Let destiny guide No more wanting to hide The fears within myself letting go for the ride Destine to keep in all perfect time When the time is right we'll make the bells chime.
