| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/5/2005 7:29:58 PM | Caressing eyes
Caressing eyes sparkle with brilliance as they gaze into the debts of your soul enticing draws the resilience dancing until consumed your heart and stole forever to nurture as the delicate flower guarded and protected with might and power.
Caressing eyes give warmth and fever dreaming their web by the web weaver getting caught laying defenseless only to surrender into the depths of the soul pumping it's way into the heart circling it's way through the entire being until you feel them inside as if sucked in powerless and trusting the way it's leading you is right no questioning what will go on next choosing the right path is never where expected engulfed inside forever consumed.
Caressing eyes so soft, kind and gentle leaving you sentimental hypnotized to a cloud filled dream tears of rivers pile into stream nothing but pillows of love as the seashore being touched to the core kindness surrounds till a wall of comfort is built.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/5/2005 9:21:11 PM | DAYDREAMING DESIRES
Laying on my back watching the clouds Daydreaming of desires as life passes by Thinking of questions and always asking why Wondering where I could be if I changed? Would I try?
Stopping to realizing I'd been living a lie Returning to reality only to cry fading back into the mist of longing passion filled tree full of fruit to thy belonging temptation and risk continuing to survive butterflies inside let you know that you're alive existance combined with daily sound as it makes my heart pound.
Laying on my back watching the clouds Daydreaming of desires as life passes by Thinking of questions and always asking why Wondering where I could be if I changed? Would I try?
Running back to that cloud so high Flying to the future so far in the sky Cloud filled bed soothing rest overdue looking through you're eyes in your beautiful view closing my eyes and falling in fast dreaming of you is the one dream I want to last.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/5/2005 9:47:21 PM | Ah to dream, to dream perchance my world of dreaming should elicit even a glimpse a solitary glimpse of you!
To dream, then, to dream gone to that world of wonders to that world of forever after to that world where you are!
Yes to dream, to dream gone off upon butterfly wings taken by the winds of chance pronounced eternally yours!

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/6/2005 12:34:48 AM | In former times I did not dance No music heard to make me move But here and now the circumstance Has changed all that I'm in the groove
Because of you I'm on the floor My feet have wings or so it seems I could not ask for one thing more To see unfold these many dreams
Revealed to me the things that are Each single note a magic made I dance upon the distant star With you on hand to serenade
Oh yes it's true I'll not deny You've super-charged the atmosphere On meeting you I learned to fly And that my love is why I'm here
And here I dance the way I do A tribute paid and nothing less Each step I take I offer you So there's no need to second-guess

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/6/2005 12:39:36 AM | For Michael:
When I look in your eyes, I see forever ... When I feel your touch upon my skin, I feel the embers of my passion for you Turn into flames of hunger ... When I feel your kiss upon my lips, I taste a sweetness of an intoxicating wine, So familiar, but new each time ... When I feel your fingers running through my hair, I want to feel them along my body everywhere ... Your love is one, like I have never known before, For it opened up my heart's door, It belongs to you, my love, You have my heart forever more.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/6/2005 7:09:46 AM | My Garden of Love
I’ve a loving hold on a world grown cold And my grip is like a vice For the people hurt who would live in dirt I’ve a touch of paradise
I’ve a loving side that will turn the tide When it’s anger on the shore I’ve a God above with a lease on love That will last forevermore
I’ve a loving heart with a running start In that race that humans run And the laps compiled are the meek and mild And the shade in a blazing sun
I’ve a loving soul that I offer whole To a world that knows its pains Every kindness shown is a seed that’s sown In the soil that Love maintains

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/6/2005 7:14:06 AM | ODE TO A LADY
She has it all in hand Were one inclined such words to follow Yet empty words like so much sand Are uttered now and sounding hollow The lady knows and yet She wonders at that nagging need A man to hear and get That soothing balm at soothing speed
Upon her hands she bears The vows of men who chanced to clamour Yet empty words and golden wares Are striking now and like a hammer The lady knows her pain Who wonders at the years now flown Such men to serve whose reign Themselves to gain and this alone
A match is set and so A magic flame alight two souls beside Yet empty words forever glow In memories worn and worn inside The lady knows you see Who’s suffered so in years gone by That men for sure can be A trying lot, your best to try
A cork is popped – a toast A special wine with words to savour Will empty words forever host The interlude, invite, and flavour The lady has her dream One day to wake herself reborn Above a star to gleam Henceforth to praise, no more to mourn

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/6/2005 7:57:33 PM | Unexpected by Mistake
Just as I thought I was unbreakable had those high walls built up enough to be safe along you came unexpected by mistake first it was fun to talk nothing was fake getting to know each other sharing still being a bit elusive never knowing the story in it's conclusion continuing that wall that kept me secure never allowing anyone close enough to explore I enjoyed your company no doubt in my mind keeping all the emotions hidden never to find the flirting began the compatibility enforced still unknown without exactly knowing the source all the hours of conversation revealed somehow in the process I began to feel healed never wanting a relationship with any soul I found myself wanting now to explore you opened a door that had been locked tighly away the key thrown to keep strangers at bay all of a sudden one day you disappeared all these emotions suddenly appeared it felt like I was in a shipwreak and I was a casualty again feeling vulnerable the one thing I tried to protect why you pulled away I will never know unless you share those feelings you hold I'd rather know now that it was a mistake to open this door so I then can build up that wall and again feel secure.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/6/2005 8:53:33 PM | Closing out old
Closing out old is opening a new as you close out the emotions of ones past fascinated by how it's gone this fast miscued relationships that you knew wouldn't last friendships that strengthen a new form made in cast
Closing out an old is opening a new the doors that once was nailed and glued opened by someone that once you viewed all that you've learned and what you've accrued now embedded into you like a tattoo
Closing out old is opening a new faded memories is how it should stay boxed up in wrapping and be stored away left open enough but kept at bay trusting your emotions never leading you astray
Closing out old is opening a new life of adventure life of defeat stored all inside ever so neat keep your emotions plant your feet don't whisk away stay sturdy as concrete
Closing out old is opening a new keep on moving forward and don't look back if you do it'll suck you in like falling into a crack work fighting forward keep your sights on tract strength is not what you lack.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/7/2005 3:47:54 AM | ENVIOUS A POET
Flowers – to their rightful place. Knows the poet. He sees. He takes. And it is his heart does the taking. He’s penned a poem. It called him by name. Was it not a life?
Dinner for one at a setting for two: to eat, to drink, to breathe, all the while flowers in their rightful place. He wonders. Was he not compliant but to his inner promptings?
Oh sweet delicate petal, is it not the dream of every seed one day a flower to be, to a lady gone, a bouquet completing? Say, where is that seed by petal unmoved?
The day ends, rearranged now the flowers – under glass – willed to longer life upon that special lady’s wall.
Envious a poet. | |

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/7/2005 3:48:45 AM | EXPLOSIVE EYES
She smiles on me from off the wall Her picture there with such aplomb Her limpid eyes a waterfall Each time I look I hear a bomb
Explosions rock my very core She pierces me dare I to stare The thought of her does work me sore And yet my gaze is frozen there
She smiles on me and how I yearn To make her real beyond the pose The fuse is short and quick to burn For there’s the bomb and there it goes

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/7/2005 3:50:52 AM | ON LOVE’S OWN PAGE
There was one day a page to fill In love’s own book now held in hand And so a pause a test of will For love’s own words are more than planned
There comes a time to stop and think To take in stock the things that are Ere you should take your pen and ink Ere you should fly upon that star
What are those words you need to find Such things to say such tales to tell That those who’d read would know them signed By one who loved and loved so well
That each should know and see and feel What words can say that run so deep To know them each to be this real With some inclined for each to keep
These are the words on love’s own page In love’s own book now held in hand For them to read for them to gauge And know these words were more than planned

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/7/2005 6:15:09 AM | Someone to come look
Lost in the pages of a book waiting for someone to come look to search for me between the lines so unnoticed wedged in between the one who paid the piper for all the fines he's the one that kept me unseen so few and far in between can notice such a scene where the woman is a begger with a heart made of gold wanting nothing more then someone to hold someone to find her deep down inside so she no longer feels the need to hide locked away inside this book waiting for someone to come look.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/7/2005 6:16:23 AM | Painted Windows
Painted windows looking out from the soul vivid imagination works falling out into a roll splattering design of life for all to see casted out with the blues of the sea crimson red as blood of pain and recluse yellow and orange bring sunshine in use to brighten the sky and highlight the eyes and even as the sun rises from the sky with a hint of pink to shadow the clouds
Painted windows looking into the soul etched in fine glass with lines swirling roll beginning at one and moving across only to touch another without loss effortlessly dancing inside this fine glass coming so close only to make a pass the lines of perfection without hesitation
Painted windows mirror myself perfectly placed upon a high shelf so high no one could see the painting keeping it safe from anyone ascertaining lines of love and colors of soul contained into one the one that finds the beauty has won.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/7/2005 7:32:35 AM | BLESSÉD WOMAN
Blesséd are you 0 Woman of the World! The heavens smile upon you every day : You are the flag I see to be unfurled, The voice of peace that’s heard in every way!
Blesséd are you 0 Woman of the Light! The angels sing, insisting that you shine : Your crocheted cape was crocheted overnight, The gods themselves the strands to intertwine!
Blesséd are you 0 Woman of the Arc! You are the loop as surely as the sun : Your ship’s come in, it’s time to disembark, Your place to take, to dazzle everyone!
Blesséd are you 0 Woman of the Star! Blesséd are you for being who you are!

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/7/2005 7:34:46 AM | Winter Reverie
Ah to think of summer, to dream of it:
birds flowers soft rain the smell of it all
the robin not only the promise but the robin itself
here’s to you, then a rose in your hair a bird on your finger a strawberry to bite on
summer: at the door here and now occupying its space
here and now with us, house-bound, found drifting from the drifts of winter
to sleep perchance to dream to dream perchance to fly

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/8/2005 4:18:00 AM | Strength and Traquil Mind
Confusion, denial these are what I've been through. Suffering long and hard we've all been through something similar in our lives. Letting go of something that we never really had. The mess of our regrets we hold accountable. Loneliness and content how can it be when I'm not alone? Working to a common goal, only one of which will keep me straight on the right road. Feathers and wings bed me, for when I fall and you hold me when it hurts or pick me up, guiding me back to the nest where I belong. Silence and solitude work during these times Giving me the strength and tranquil mind.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/8/2005 7:04:51 AM | EMPTINESS
This morning, at breakfast, I sensed you. My eyes closed, I heard your voice. I smiled.
Halfway through breakfast, I turned, and there you were. With the boldness of a poet, you offered me a breast.
Breakfast going cold, I savoured the taste of you.
Atop the roof, the dove cooed, and I heard you sighing, but I knew. I knew:
This morning, you were no more tangible than the words as yet unformed in a game of Scrabble.
This morning, I did not finish my plate. I could not. And it was not for the lack of emptiness.

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/8/2005 7:06:19 AM | MY ANGEL
An angel came and called my name Sent down from God above In no time flat I knew in that The wonder that was Love
That angel’s voice made me rejoice That heaven could be mine Despite the night I saw the light Than angel made me shine
With thankful heart I’ve made an art Of saying what I feel And God knows well I’m here to tell This angel is for real

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/8/2005 7:07:18 AM | NOT A CHANCE
If life were but some happenstance Then purely we’d have met by chance And in such case the random dove As much a chance for me to love
Oh but to think it could be so An equal chance that I’d not know The wondrous soul I cling to me And long to love eternally
If life were such a chancy thing I’d want no more for it to bring Perchance I’d lose as I might do A second split away from you

| Poems of Passion Posted: 1/8/2005 7:16:07 AM | By Love's Eternal Trust
Let me abide by love's eternal vow, the one I made upon a sudden eve, that I should love no less than I do now, That you, my Muse, forever should believe!
Let me now stand upon the mountain tall and holler loud to shake and shatter trees; let stones dislodge and from the summit fall, to stun the world at words the likes of these!
Let me then say the very things I feel, that I myself should walk away in awe: the little boy upon that Ferris Wheel yet sees the world while sipping through a straw!
Let me abide by love's eternal trust, till love itself is vanquished into dust!
