That was one of the most honest posts ever...I swear, I've looked around at some dating sites and you are SO on the money with a lot of what you say....I met a couple of those "nice" guys....I made a quick exit shortly thereafter and watched my rear view mirror all the way home... | |

like to state there are other categories apart from nice guys or loosers as u put it
and pseudoplayers.
Firstly being a nice guy does not exactly make u attractive to the opp sex. Need to
be interesting with good comm skills and sense of humour to bag someone equally
interesting. Looks are superficial, though i agree they might help to get u thru ur
first stage in dating but dont know how the relation pans out in the long run...
somehow i get the feelin that gettin on to the forums is a better bet on gettin a date
rather than stickin up ur photo and interests in life and waitin for someone to respond...
life is tough and dating is no different so we gotta work hard to make dates meet....
this mail sounds like a lecture from an expert which i certainly not..so lookin forward

Posted: 9/2/2005 9:37:22 PM | fernjo - I wonder how many of us just had a light go on, (in our heads). Getting a date from being a regular 'forums' user, well I'll be. Never saw the forest for the trees. One big problem is you can't tell right away, nor easily, if your reaching peeps in your own neck of the woods. However, it prolly will up your chances to learn interesting stuff from your peers, and possibly help you hook up with someone. Tx - W. Knight  | |
