Posted: 8/31/2005 11:02:10 AM | | hmmm i live in lantzville on the outskirts of nanaimo and last year i got my licence finally and they have this stupid licence program, anyway to make a long story short i had my licence taken awayon the 15th of august for 3 months for getting two speeding tickets grrrrrrr. so finding a drive down and a drive back is hard. we'll see if i cant find transportaion or a place to crach in the city. other than all that, it sounds fun lol | |

NO WORRIES THOUGH I GOT MUDDY WATERS WHICH IS LITERALLY A HUNDRED FEET AWAY..THE ADDRESS IS 1724 STEWART THEY HAVE BOOKED A BAND JUST FOR US AND THEY HAVE HALF OFF OF THERE APPIES THAT NIGHT ALONG WITH DRINK SPECIALS...PLEASE HELP ME SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE LOCATION CHANGE!!

Posted: 9/1/2005 4:43:02 PM | Over 80 people now. Great turnout for Nanaimo. Looking forward to it. This really should be a monthly thing. If we get the crowds then places like Muddy's will throw in all kinds of incentives to encourage us to choose their establishment. In Atlanta places provided free food to get us to throw our parties at their pubs. They know they get the majority of their money from alcohol anyway.
Majestik, you should have something at the door to keep a tally of how many are there from pof (including friends) and then use that number along with pictures taken during the night as proof to negotiate another pub night a month later. Then you can contact several pubs in town and go with the best offer. They will outbid each other. Just an idea..
Majestik are you planning anything to encourage mixing? Like those, what are they called... nuts and bolt parties with girls getting one and guys the other all different sizes and you have to go around trying out each one until you find your match. | |
