| What kind of cologne do women like? Posted: 5/27/2006 11:30:59 AM | I gots to post about the scent again. I totally forgot my most bestest favoritest smell EVER . . .
The smell of my man.
Whether it's fresh out of the shower . . . wearing nothing but the smell of *clean* . . . or as he walks in the door after a 12hr work day in the summer heat . . . smelling like sunshine, sweat, and exhaustion.
There's just something so sexy about the way your man smells. Like no other. Gawd, I get all tingly just thinking about it! LOL
*hugs*

| What kind of cologne do women like? Posted: 6/3/2006 5:13:59 PM | thanks for this thread but I'll be damned if it didn't help me! I went in to the perfume section the other day and came out smelling strong enough to set a "Scent sensitive" person into convulsions! Really I mean after about 5min I can't tell one from the other. What I would like is someone to come scent shopping with me to make sure the one I get is the one that works the best on me. After all they don't all wear the same.
And lets face it I need something to improve my odds! the whole personality thing doesn't seem to be working!

| What kind of cologne do women like? Posted: 6/5/2006 7:23:28 AM | I vaguely appreciate when a guy has a spritz of *something* on - it shows he's at least trying to be fancy. A for effort. Either that or didn't have time to shower and is trying to cover up the day's funk.
Most colognes / perfumes give me headaches and dry my throat out, though, so I really prefer not to have to smell any of them. A lot of commercial guys' sprays all smell the same to me anyway.
I'm into aromatherapy, and I know for myself, when going out, I choose my scent based on what mood or feeling I'm going for. It's amazing what a drop of tuberose, jasmine, rose, ylang ylang, champa, or vanilla can do. These are the smells I like on myself, and they enhance my mood without affect me negatively in the way that perfumes / colognes do.
Not too many guys I know enjoy smelling like flowers, but there's plenty of essential oils that smell more like leaves, wood, trees, stuff that guys may find more "manly" - sandalwood, frankincense, or cypress, for example. These are the scents I go for - I love when a man smells faintly of incense or some recognizable entity found in nature, as opposed to synthetic fragrances 22, 7, 86 and 91 in an alcohol base, with a touch of blue # 4 tossed in to make the bottle look interesting. Besides, sandalwood (and the flowery scents mentioned above) is said to act as an aphrodesiac. Why not kill two birds with one stone.
Nothing, however, beats the smell of compatible pheromones.

Not too stong just mild undertones, clean smelling clothes and hair are a plus.
Love nice fresh brushed teeth too, btw, LOL
