| being bi-curious Posted: 5/21/2009 2:01:55 PM | This sure is an old thread being brought back to life!
I find it amazing that everyone is telling this obviously uneducated girl to jump into bed with her COUSIN and his girlfriend! "just wants to watch"....ya, right. Even having your cousin watch is just plain wrong.
I'd say to the OP, go back and finish grade school and quit looking for dates at your family reunion.

| being bi-curious Posted: 5/21/2009 2:04:25 PM | I have a very good friendship with a couple that is lesbian... interestingly enough both were married and lived as "hetero" until they had the courage to be honest about their sexual identities. Both knew at a very young age they were only sexually aroused by women .. but both lived within the confines and dictates of what society perceived as "normal". One of these women is a psychologist and she believes that women use bicurious to alleviate their decision to become completely comfortable with their own sexuality. She is very passionate about the fact that women stay with the man for societal acceptance ... it is still not a comfortable acceptance to alot of people. She does not believe that the human brain can be attracted to the smells and sounds and sexual activity to both sexes .. she believes that your brain is definitively selective about what it is attracted to and I agree.. this is more complex and even bicurious people have difficulty with exactly what they are attracted to. Her partner was married for 23 years .. her husband asked her to stay and just have a female partner recreationally or that they could go somewhere and fix her into a heterosexual woman.. well when she became comfortable with who she was sexually she left and is now happier than she has ever been in her life...
My girlfriend will argue very knowledgeably about the fact that their is no such thing as bi anyone... you are one or the other and the brain is by studies of brain waves and smell more selective than people care to convince themselves. I would suggest that you go and get some counselling so that you become comfortable first with your sexual identity and then be comfortable being you.

This isn't a "fact", it's her personal opinion, hypothesis or premise. But it is NOT fact. I have never met a woman who "turned me on" so this theory obviously leaves me out of this myth. And trust me, if women did turn me on, I'd go for it.

i want dont know n really dont care cause its only thang i want to try right
If you really don't care what people think, then why the concern? Why are you posting this as a question? It seems to me that you want others to say things like; "it's Ok!" "Don't worry!", "It's perefectly normal!", and other things that will validate your desires to be with a woman. If you truly don't care, go ahead and do it. You won't be the first and surely will not be the last.

Networking, right?!! I can see it!!! Stuff a bunch of your cards in her purse, and in that post-coital bliss (with another woman) , her lover, staring skyward, muses "I wonder what it's like with a man". Budda-bing, the gf produces your card, and creeeeeaaaaaaaakkkkk, one more heavy door swings open for Vision!! Tres clever!
