"...laws grind the poor, and the rich make the law." -- Oliver Goldsmith

Not a favorite, but certainly one to make a person think.

"Eatin greens is a special treat, it makes long ears and great big feet" Thumper Rabbit in the movie Bambi.

I can quote more lines from that movie then anything else, It's the only movie I ever paid to see twice in the same week.

"Come on out the water's stiff", "I'm Thumpin, that's why the call me Thumper", "kinda wobbly, idn't he?" "THUMPER, you knnow what your daddy says" "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all"

We could all be a little better if we just paid a little more attention to this movie.

Funny-Love sickness is like sea sickness, you think you're gonna die and everybody around you thinks it's hilarious.

Sad- to let you go is my greatest sacrifice

Meaningful- True love is like a ghost, everybody talks about them but few have actually seen one.

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

This one has kinda stuck with me the most lately:

"Do not seek to "find" yourself, instead strive to "create" yourself"

It helps me to remember to live a fulfilling life, rather than merely just watching my life pass me by. It also helps me to remember that I am a unique individual who has choices in how to live daily. :)

This quote has always inspired me to never roll over and quit when things aren't going my way, and remindes me to never quit fighting for what I believe in.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it

Life is something that happens when you can't get to sleep

Maturity is knowing when and where to be immature

Love thy neighbor as yourself, but choose your neighborhood.

If you're feeling good, don't worry. You'll get over it.

Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels.

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.

Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win

The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.

Self-approval is acquired mainly from the approval of other people. The result is Conformity - Mark Twain.

To know a person's religion we need not listen to his profession of faith but must find his brand of intolerance. --Eric Hoffer

It must be admitted that there are some parts of the soul which we must entirely paralyse before we can live happily in this world. --Sébastien-Roch Nicolas de Chamfort

This quote is from one of Stephen King's novel although I am unsure if which one exactly:

"The most important things are the hardest things to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them - words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they're brought out. But it's more than that, isn't it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you've said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That's the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a teller but for want of an understanding ear."
