| Why do guys give cell phone numbers instead of home numbers ...is that a clue they are taken?
Posted: 11/30/2005 11:55:17 PM | Cell phones are a far better tool to reach someone without have to play v-mail tag. Mobility virtually guarantees you immediate contact. If the person is in a meeting and cannot take your call he can send you a text message explaing why and that he will call you back.
Home phone numbers are good too have if he has one. But if he always carries his cell, you have been to his place and he is honest the why care about any other number?
The fact is I would worry more about a person that doesn't want to give you his cell number or that he doesn't have one to begin with.
You can call my home (867-5309) anytime you wish.

Posted: 12/1/2005 11:29:36 PM | | us guys give out our cell phone numbers becouse ! we can see the number as it comes up on screen , we write it down for security in case we get dodgy calls from it, or you may be nasty , if the number is with held you dont answer, and i consider my home line for my close friends an family so until i built up a trust with you i would ask you to call my cell if of course i was lucky enough to get a response lots of kisses deano x. | |

Posted: 12/3/2005 6:09:45 AM | I don't know what the situation in the States is. But my number is not listed so hopefully my details can't be traced. You can also keep your number secret when you dial if you want.
In the UK too, a growing number of people don't have landlines. However I find that most still do. I'm happy to give out my landline. And I've had too many dodgy experiences to trust guys who won't give out their landline. Ok I miss out on one or two genuine ones, but I miss out mainly on cheaters. No landline = no deal. It works for me. | |

Type in Reverse lookup sometime in Google and put your home phone number in one of those provided boxes. You can get a map to your door my friend. Cells are not listed like that, yet. I don't have a home phone. Just a cell. | |
