The reason for this is that any secretions from the genitals of a person infected with an STD, lets take chlamidia for example; will contain a concentration of the bacteria which will have the opportunity to replicate and thus infect your cells.
The mouth and genital area are both warm, dark, and damp regions on your body. This makes for ideal breeding grounds in your mouth, or visa versa, if you are on the recieving end.
Many sexualy active people are infected with such STD, and even yeast infections in thier mouth, but remain unaware.
Although it is highly unlikely to happen, it is still possible to become infected with HIV through oral. Many adults who have gum disease are at risk. This is because when the infected person ejaculates in your mouth, if your gum has been bleeding recently, the path to your bloodstream is still open. The virus will attach itself to your blood cells, and replicate inside them because this is the only way for IT to actually continue "being". (A virus is neither dead or alive).
It is slightly unnerving to me that so many on this dating site are discounting profilactics because they "don't feel good". If you do not want to get sick, use them or go with your partner REGULARLY to get tested. Once is not enough, because like many people on this site, partners cheat.

If your with a steady long term partner, FOR SURE no condom is necessary, but for men that your "seeing" you should protect yourself, if a man wants to use a dental damn on me, I give him alot of credit for being safe than sorry, no way would I be offended. Yes condoms suck, but wouldn't a disease suck more? this is something all you rubber-free riders need to think about. | |
