Umh...Chimay's from Belgium, not the Phillippines....
My favorites would have to be Den Gamle Carlsberg (The Old Carlsberg, the one with the pink label), Newcastle Brown, Guinness on tap in Ireland (yes, it tastes quite different than the version you buy here...) and Duvel, also not from the Phillippines.....

Ok, Superfunguy has goo taste in beer.

My fav is a local micro brew called "Church Key." Literally brewed in an old church. All with alternate energy. And man its good! Especially their peat smoked dark ale called "Holy Smoke." Their "lift lock lager" is pretty darned good too. For those who like fruity they have a Maple Cranberry Wheat ale.

Mmmm.. Holy Smoke!

Sleeman Amber Ale, if I can find it around here!
Ricker's Red
Kokanee

When I was in Toronto a few years ago, I took a liking to Upper Canada Lager...very smooth beer and we can't get it out west, if it's even being brewed any more.

I drink only microbrew myself. My favorite breweries are Dragonmead which makes an awesome Belgian Trippel called Final Absolution, Kuhnhenn brewing company, Great Lakes Brewing company and Bells Brewery. These are all in Michigan with the exception of Great Lakes which is in Ohio. When I am unable to get my local brew, I tend to drink either Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Samual Adams Boston Ale. Sometimes I will drink Boston Lager in the summer since lager is to be served at a colder temperature than an ale.

I see so many people posting all these crap beers like killian, corona, etc. You guys really need to get out there and try some real beer. Killians is a fizzy beer that Coors got ahold of and changed it to a light lager, ruining the original recipe. Other beers they make such as Blue Moon are not much better. If you want to see how aweful Blue Moon really is, try something like Bells Oberon and you will never touch it again.

Those fancy beers that miller is making are even worse than coors since miller doesnt even use real hops in their beer. They use a hop extract called tetra-hop which skunk proofs the beer but takes away from the flavor as well since there is no hop aroma. Negro Modelo/Anheuser-Busch skunk proofs their Corona a different way by shipping it in a long neck bottle so you cannot smell the liquid and telling you to wedge a lime in the bottle so you cannot taste how skunked it is since there is no such thing as an unskunked Corona. I just cannot see drinking a beer which contains the same chemical that skunks use to defend themselves.

Not sure if you can get them down there but...
Sleeman's Cream Ale
Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale
Moosehead
Kokanee
Maudite
From The Brick brewery, the Bock or Harvest is pretty good not a fan of the rest of their line though.
Tuborg (don't stop drinking once you start though, quite the after-taste)
Wildcat Strong is now brewed by John Labatt Breweries, so not sure if they have changed the recipe but it was great the last time I got into it.

At an updating course several years back, I introduced a handfull of beer drinkers from the USA to Molson XXX ice brewed beer. One of them filled the trunk of his car with this product (can't get it in the US) because he knew none of his buddies back home would believe the experiance. The pain, throbbing, hurling, and the longest day of thier lives after drinking just 6 beer....I swear I could litterally see thier heads throb the next day. Gives me a run for my money too......So now I drink Kokanee.
