I grew up being called 'toast' or 'toasty' by my best friends and many of their parents. It continued throughout college. Many people didn't know what my real first name was. To this day, my office staff knows that if anyone calls and asks to speak to 'toast', it's for me.

I've always liked it.

My Grampa called me "Joni Pony" or just "Pony"

In high school it was "Shoe Butt" - it was a 'thing' at that time to take someone's last name (Mine was Schuelein - like "Shoe Line") or "Ubangi" (something about big lips)

Haven't had a nickname in forever!

dont often get referred to by anything else but my full first name, but sometimes get a shortened version, lexi..

In middle school, it was bubbles.

(after having not so cleverly blown bubbles everywhere in the classroom the minute the teacher walked out, which didnt really impress her when she walked straight back in...)

As a child My neighbour nicknamed me Ragu. why, I don't know

Usually these days it's either "Ry" or "RyRy" just slang term because apearantly a 1 syllable word is to much to ask.

In junior high: Spock.
In high school: Jughead (I have absolutely no idea why)
In the Armed Forces Reserve: Psycho (get a good enough rep, you don't get into fights. I never got into fights.)
Also in the Armed Forces Reserve: T-Bird. I will probably never forgive the guy who hung that one on me.
The one that's followed me the longest, and in the most places: Spike. I've had that one at different times for different reasons. The best reason: because somebody said I reminded him of British writer Spike Milligan.
