Posted: 11/26/2004 8:32:29 PM | i live in the most 'alive' and densely crowded area in my city, and i spend the past four years on the streets here, let me tell you i have never been approached by anyone [except males] and i have never seen ANYONE thats a male get approached [i pay a lot attention to what other people do around me in public..] by a woman. maybe im scary and the people i see are all too busy going to clubs to get reamed by big black guys or to go shopping, but it seems pretty dead to me flirting wise.. i do see a lot of big black guys picking up anything that moves, it's hilarious
see i can never get the flirting : i have been able to start conversations with women, but not off the bat in the right manner to let them see i was interested, mostly at work; and i have hit'n'run quite a few times on the street. there was this particular time when i was riding my bike and i saw this girl come down from her second floor apartement. i was across the street, two blocks away, but something told me that she was beautiful, she walked on the street to the corner in front of me, and when the light turned green i crossed.. she was waiting for the bus, carrying some stuff and seemed pretty lost in her thoughts, plus i wear a full face helmet, so she didnt realise i was staring her, and boy was she beautiful! not like super hot or slutty, quite on the contrary, and she had deep, sad grey eyes.. i wanted to continue riding, having verified my hypothesis that the chick was nice, but i realised -
i couldnt ride away! something kept me there! i started doing circles in the gas station behind her back, i was panicked, because i couldnt understand what bothered me so much. after about ten minutes i realised i couldnt ride away without saying SOMETHING to her, maybe as an excuse to look in her eyes again, because otherwise it would haunt me for the rest of the day, so i rode up to her, asked if she spoke english [for some reason engaging comes easier in english to me] and told her straight up that i saw her coming down from her pad, and that i passed by her and couldnt leave without telling her how beautiful she was. and she just stood there, looking at me with those beautiful grey eyes, and was clueless, it was some awesome feeling. i added that i thought she had really beautiful eyes, and then u turned and sped away because got scared of what she may say. i think she did muster a thank you or something, but she just looked so blown away i couldnt beleive the impact my words had on her. maybe i scared her because i looked like a mean rider with a full face and pads and sh*t?
i dont know. thing is, when im not riding i dont feel myself, so im too shy to engage people, when im on my bike, i feel like i can do anything, but id rather just bike.. | |

You should have seen MY eyes when I first came here, LOL...(and I'm still a "newbie"!!)
I quickly found out that some posts should come with a warning, tho...something along the lines of "WARNING!!YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER UNFAMILIAR TERRITORY, AND EYES *WILL* BE AFFECTED!" LOL...
Btw, LOVE the guitar!! FANTASTIC!! Is there any particular kind of music it likes best??
