Why is it that on this site - POF - that there are no fish here? I think a fish emoticon would be a good one to have, maybe even a few different types, or how about a shark?

I am getting tired of pickles, and funny faces, although I do like the following: , and , there have to be others that we can access easily and drop them into our messages.

OK, That does it !

I sent a business email letter and a copy to myself. I often review the copy, because it looks different than the font I sent with.

I am so sure I checked for little nasties in the text, but NO, I missed one - "lol"

I hope he knows what "lol" means !

Now I know I am in POF too often.

Yay! I found the list >>>>

http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingPosts1485062.aspx

Official smilies list

But there are still a few more I have seen that are not on that list...
for instance "vomit" and "pimp" so what are the official numbers / words for ones like that?

Ahhhhhh, the T_E_A man is back, how ya doin brother?

Good to see ya back, dude.

On topic, emoticons, what is my take on it, and what is my favorite ya say.

My take is, that they signafy of how ya feel about a certain topic or individual.

Depends on if it is regarding guys or gals, for example.

If it is regarding the guys, then would be my favorite.

If it is regarding the gals then would be my favorite.

I them, they make IM's & emailing so much more fun!

I've only been in the forums for about a year & a half, & I've only had MSN & Yahoo
messengers, for about a year. I didn't even really notice before, that you could use
them in your emails here.

The thing I like most about POF's IM & Yahoo, is I can use my microphone, so I don't
have to type For some reason, my mic doesn't work on MSN. And their
tech people have not been of much help
But the one thing I about MSN, I can make & add my own smilies/emoticons.

Anyone who would like some very cool free emoticons, drop me a line, with your email
address, I'll send you a bunch (I'll remove my email restrictions)

I really the holiday ones! They're SO cool!!

Happy New Years, everyone!

The list above provides all the numerical entries for each emoticon... just place the respective number between two colons (:) w/o any spaces and there you have it... same method as the ones made available by clicking on the respective image which use a label like smile or wink or laugh ... just replace the word with the numeric code... hope that clarifies matters for you!

Signing off...

PS: the alien head is code 55
