Yeah I agree, this forum is the first place I've heard someone talk about penis width...duhh??
I've always heard the circumference termed as girth...if the av. length man is around ~6.25", the average girth is about 4.8". I've heard 9" in length often corresponds to around 6+" in girth, which is pretty big...apparently.
Around 90% of all men fall between 5" and 8" allegedly...but where do these average measurements come....
I think there is only one country that has an official consensus on this...(think it was from somewhere in Asia but I forgot where....)...and they found it to be just 5.5" inches...disappointing for most women perhaps.... :( | |

but it basically sums up the saying "horses for courses" and there can be too big and too small.
A women who had slept around ALOT and had just about experienced every type of level of performance of sex said:
The best sex she ever had was with a man of just 2.5" (wasn't sure they came that small) and it was too do with the closeness and connection this man was able to create between them and his technique...
...anyway by comparison she also said had been with two men (not at the same time) of around 13", one of which was crap, wham, bam thankyou mam type...thought he could rely on his size alone to bring satisfaction and the other who came a close second to the little man mentioned above.
Its worth noting that she had no problem accommodating the much larger size...as some women have said that there is such thing as too big and prefer average (5"-8") due presumably too it being uncomfortable or even painful...
Food for thought perhaps...no point trying to generalize what a woman wants... whether she a size queen (not dress size) wanting 10+" or a small sexed woman wanting something far more modest...
Of course the other thing is that for the majority of women foreplay plays a far more important role in terms of pleasure and orgasming... perhaps the length of a mans tongue and how he uses itis more important. | |
