| For My Mam Superdiva Posted: 12/15/2005 2:00:55 AM | Kat ..
Things have never been easy for my mum ..always encountering tragedy after tragedy..she is an awesome lady ..she doesn't realise ..but its her that gave me this inner strength and all my witty humour..behind closed doors ..my mum is an angel ..she is a free babysitter for my two sisters children , she is the only one out of her sisters that actually cares for her mother who is very elderly and a handful..while her sisters are away enjoying holidays abroad my mum is here doing what shes always done ..putting everybody else first ..so she says i'm a godsend ..NO MUM your the godsend and i love you too ..lol to all the stars and back again.
MY ONLY WISH ..would be to see you have at least one dream come true..xxxx

| So ya wanna be a poet? Posted: 12/15/2005 2:18:13 AM | 4701 Decadent Some Days 15 December 2005
Pain and suffering takes a world and steals a soul Those moments never to forget yet unable to feel whole
This decadence of yesteryear those trials of tribulation An adversity to combat not known if tomorrow would be a day of celebration
Just to be alive to know you are there Just to know you did survive of a world in command never quite that place in being fair

Sheltered inside a bond of hurt wrapped inside a cocoon Unable to be with friends then television held some in zoom
Those girls called Courteney or Jennifer by name Or was it Elle and Joey who were much to acclaim
As to Phoebe and her foe unlike that of Chandler Bing What was it they were to truly bring
Rachel - Monica and Ross all to love in their own way Or was it just a story of writers to entertain as some would say

| So ya wanna be a poet? Posted: 12/15/2005 2:13:18 PM | 18 A Vision of Love 14 January 1996
It was around midnight when my eyes fell closed for just a second or so when I saw a vision
A young bespectacled woman sitting on a lawn grass so green Isn’t God mean
He showed me my future life and perhaps also my future wife for I believe I know this woman I know that is true
The place I still had to find Perhaps then I would make her mine She stood as if to walk with me like she had once before

| So ya wanna be a poet? Posted: 12/15/2005 11:40:17 PM | for those newcommes
I do not write poems - I play with words - write bad grammar and destroy the English language - and do not care about rules of what a poem is meant or not meant to be - you get out of one of my words - not the meaning - but the feeling of reading it - start at the top - read to the bottom and then ponder over the first thought that comes into you mind - do not try the think what I was thinking about - relate to what you are made to think about as a result - and how you feel inside - happy, sad, confused - upset - just take it as it comes September 17, 2005
Then I've written over 100 of these poem things so far for December 2005 got to keep up the practice
4708 Crazy Horse 16 December 2005
Love was lemon pie bitter but sweet to try When poetry was like a peach to some it was talent less and out of reach
While others could dream of golden days in the sun That was if it was not raining and this day had not been one
What is a poem what is love at all No one really does know because of love they in and out fall
Like to have a heart and soul all covered in uncooked scrambled eggs Hey she looks sexy and what great legs

| So ya wanna be a poet? sorta do! Posted: 12/16/2005 1:23:30 PM | 4586 Bubble Gum Blues 27 November 2005
Some can be funny - others were true Then there were really bad movies and chewed gum on the seats that was left behind and stuck like glue
While there were topics at times not all there Because what was the state of the state fair
Even if this was a movie made from some guys play The subject was merry-go-rounds and that was another in Carousel you'd say
Some can be funny as comic as can be But who left their bubble gum here because I'm stuck to my seat and cannot get free

| For My Dear Friend Lost after a brave battle with cancer. Posted: 12/16/2005 2:07:23 PM | Twisted thorns with arms outstretched scars upon my soul are etched the mountains we climbed, still hold our pride no enemy or its aquaintance, allowed inside two friends we were, we conquered all never meant to last, it had to fall the flame struggled to flicker, it began to fade memories of us , and our teenage days four little petals appearing in place they hold your charm, blessed with your grace each scar i have , i treasure thee for on my heart you'll always be memories of you will always remain Until Elaine , we meet again.
In loving memory of my best friend and her four beautiful girls she was taken from.xxxx

| From A Poet who cares.. Posted: 12/16/2005 7:27:23 PM | Hmm, I just want to "apologize", or something, for the fact that all of my poems are basically about the same subject, for now anyway. I typically write when I feel extreme emotion of some sort, and lately it has been much of the same for me. So, sorry if reading my words gets old, lol :P ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Am I wasting my time? As I sit here and think about you, Pondering my love for you, Wondering what you are doing at this very moment…

| So ya wanna be a poet? Posted: 12/16/2005 7:28:21 PM | I want to be yours. And I am. But I don’t want just your heart. I want your hand.
It’s so easy to just slip it into mine. As you gaze longingly into my eyes. But I guess it’s just not that easy to change your mind.

| For everyone on this thread Posted: 12/16/2005 7:33:07 PM | Sorry that this is off-topic... but if anyone is feeling particularly philanthropic, I started a thread in the "Dating and Love Advice" area, called "I am in love with my ex, but cannot re-start the relationship now..." I'm thinkin' the title of the thread is pretty self-explanatory, so if you care to read the dilemma and leave some words, I would be ecstatic :)

| My Dear Friend Posted: 12/16/2005 8:20:25 PM | A friend is someone who listens and cares, a friend is someone who's always there. A friend brings happiness that can warm and mend. I'm glad that I can call you a friend. A lot of people have entered my life, but one thing remains true... I've never met a single soul who has touched my heart like you.
Thank you for being a friend. ----------- How is that

| From A Poet who cares.. Posted: 12/17/2005 9:52:17 AM | kblgal - never "apologize", for writing or expressiing words and feelings from your heart Write you heart out if need be and don't give a damn about anyone else in the process That is what creates 'poetry' - and never be sorry for doing that, if this is your desire
Here's one I composed for Kat (from my Katalist)
4268 Barefoot and Beautiful 06 September 2005
Barefoot and Beautiful away from shoes on her feet Happiness a smile to have exchanging another when you greet
Heaven maid and heaven borne her toes made free to air Of a heart beating softly to rhythms classical to fare
Through trials and understanding no shoes being required to ware Even when not all was roses in a jar as to other moments to bear
Barefoot and Beautiful away from shoes on her feet Happiness a smile to have exchanging another when you greet
"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." Ecclesiastes 3: 11 KJV

| Here's another one from my Katalist Posted: 12/17/2005 9:18:58 PM | 4077 Eyes to Storm 07 July 2005
Picture this eyes closed to a storm Her back not turned her face a smile sweet
Unnerving yet unjustified to peace Each beat of heart the purr of a cat
Breathing gentle breath enveloped with soul to breast Resting upon a hand in gentle caress through the mind of a drifting sleep
Beside her - he views this inner self to happiness to have her so near This life of future being to partake of two in haven united to share
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18: 19-20 KJV
