The Garden
Posted: 3/27/2006 4:04:11 AM
In the garden with my lover
my songs I do compose
as fragrance like no other
mystifies my nose

The hair upon her head
is shining in its grace
like chocolate on the pillow
it beautifies her face

her eyes like pools of licorice
are smiling there at me
oh the rapture so delish!
the feast inside of me!

Skin as soft as satin
silken touch of fire
speak to her in latin
or french in its desire

giggle blush, what a rush
a flower to her hand
feeling much like children
alone right where we stand

the body of the woman
conceals the grace of God
revealing truth and passion
while on the garden sod

Clothed in dignity and chaste
My desire is all for her
passing by a richer race
for love that just might stir

embrace this grace I ever would
if it should come to me
wait forever for the good
and see if its to be

detection and protection
of all that would me steal
in searching for perfection
if ever it's revealed.

Brazen my desire
in this place I know
but kissed once by the fire
you cant just let it go.

Flee from me insincerity
run from me oh lust
give to me what isnt free
ere I return to dust.

Time the keeper of our world
has told me then to wait
unknowing and still wanting
this love I anticipate.

Unhurried then finding friend
writing all these rhymes,
passing time until the end
and then the Love sublime.

I just came from the moon
i'll be here soon
yet, I don't know who u are
all I wanted to say, is just bla-bla-bla

Does it make any sense,
but what I ma here for hense?

THE CAPTIVE

The window's in bars, I live in the cell
I was raised as a captive, it's how do I dwell
My lonely amigo, the eagle in play
is pounding meat, which is what is his prey

he pounced it, leaves it and he is looking at me
as though as he wants me to be on the free
he calls for me, calling me, uttering cry
let's go, bro, let's go; the sky is to fly

We were born for our freedom; let's go, bro, let's go
to where the mountains are like silver in glow
to where is the ocean as blue as could be
to where is no soul, but wind...you and me!!!!

I DO REMEMBER WONDER MOMENT,
APPEARED YOU IN FRONT OF ME,
YOU WERE SIMPLY GLIMPSE OF VISION
AS PERFECT AS CAN WOMAN BE.

THROUGH SADNESS, DESPERATE AND LOUD
THROUGH WORRIES, MESSY LIFE, UNREST,
I HEARD YOUR VOICE I DREAMED ABOUT
AND PUT MY MEMORY AT TEST.

AS YEARS PASSED, THE PASSION EASE
IN DISSIPATION OF MY DREAMS
AND I FORGOT YOUR VOICE SO LOVELY,
YOUR IMAGE BLURRIED AS IT SEEMS.

IN DUNGEON, GLOOMY ISOLATION,
THE TIME WAS SERVED, I WAS ALONE,
WITHOUT DEITY, INSPIRATION,
WHAT'S LIFE? DRYED TEARS AND "LYBOV?"

BUT SOUL KNOWS IT'S INPIRATION
AND YOU CAME BACK AGAIN FOR ME,
AS GLIMPSE OF VISION, MY FRUSTRATION,
AS PERFECT AS CAN WOMAN BE.

MY HEART IS POUNDING, ELATION
AROSED ANEW, AND FEELINGS "VNOV"
ARE READY, DREAMS AND INSPIRATION,
AND LIFE AND TEARS AND "LYBOV!"

Rib of Man

Rib of Man

I was made from your rib
To be right at your side
When the world is heavy
When you have no place to hide
To stand close beside you
In everything you do
To be at your right hand
To help see you through
I come not from the top of your head
Or the bottom of your feet
But God made me from your rib
This made me complete
So should you think you're alone
If it seems as no one cares
Just know your missing rib
Means I am standing there

Intrepid Thought

26 June 2005

Was man one of God’s blunders
or is God one of man’s to see
As if truth to interpretation was
for eyes focused in existence to thee

For if God was in fact an
invention made of mistake
What was this spirit from within
being so painful to heart break

Like wheels on an automobile
rotating in direction of drive
Man was either born to be dead
or of a probation to live and survive

Was God one of man’s blunders
where woman was taken out of man
Then biblical in item of concern
could have been the
foundation of God in plan

"And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should
be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And the LORD
God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and
he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made
he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said,
This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall
be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
Genesis 2: 18, 21-23 KJV

Flirting
A melancholy nymphs
Inquisitive and shameful dance
Gyrating, teasing, taunting, inviting
My limp hollow frame
Desires, resists, resigns
To the drink, the medicine
The beautiful, the depraved
Tears of the distressed
Venom of the abandoned
Admiration of the perverse
Prayers of the converted
Flirting, never falling
Falling ends the dance
I prefer the flirt

The Beach

The Beach

One day as I was sitting
On a beach made of white sand
A child walked up to me
She took me by the hand

She said "Please help me
I can't find my way home
I'm afraid to be alone here
I'm lost and all alone"

As we began to walk
I inquired "What's your name"
She said "I am called Angel"
"You may call me by that name"

I held her tiny hand
Tightly wrapped in mine
We talked and walked along that beach
Soon unaware of time

She handed me a seashell
She had found on the beach
She said "With this you can hear the ocean
any time it's out of reach"

Day light was fading
There were no homes in sight
How could I help this child
Find her home before the night

We came into a clearing
It was such a beautiful site
This looks like it has streets of gold
I thought but I remained quiet

She said "We have made it,
I don't want to be late,
This is where I live" she said
"Just inside heavens gate"

Dragon

Dragon, come spread your wings
Soar into the sky
Climb towards the heavens
All you need to do is try
Fear not the eyes that watch you
For they don't understand
The anguish that you feel
A dragon,trapped in man
You are a valant creature
A noble beast of sorts
So take high with thy wings
Fly on to your course
The mountains down below you
The streams of water blue
Others know you not
They understand not what you do
So, fly on noble dragon
Continue to stand tall
Soon they will understand
You protect all great and small

within the beauty of sublime
I thought I'd lose my mind
trying in earnest to find
a place for all these lines

[chorus] reason was out of season
..........so I thought that I would go
........peasin' without the teasin'
.....slow and pure as snow
..some songs are very rhythmic
..... while others just bop around
......... this isn't a song you should pick
............. when your lying on the ground

now if you light up another
and pass it to your brother
then he gives it to your mother
so she'll no longer smother

would butterflies start to hover
in the kitchen of your lover
if you dated Danny Glover
do you think you would recover

[chorus]

when time won't let you do what's new
would it all just start to drag on you
like the smoke creates that hazey blue
and you never seem to feel its true

[chorus]

Late at night and so empty sidewalk
all forgotten and no one to talk
only silver from brightest of moons
brings my soul in the nuttiest of tunes.

Wind is whipping and throws leaves at me
Crying something obscene as can be
only memory's playing it's game
how from happy unhappy became

Silver moon and the childish wind,
I don't want to be sad, I have grinned.
I remember as happy I was
I will live, I will live just because...

Weather's nasty, but I do not care,
at the moon and the wind will I stare
for the moment of dawn will come
an I happy again will become

I believe that it is breaking point
I should never myself disappoint
For as long as I live, I do care
Life will always to be very fair

I will never give up on my dream
Moon and wind will become of my team
Sun will come and no doubt of it
for as long as I have so believed.

Online
I rush home to look at a screen
Hopen to see you online
My days go fast
Cause your always on my mind

Rain or shine
I know you will be fine
Tired and scared
I will always be there

Not a day goes by that I dont think of you
Hopen today your not so blue
Just one smile
Would brighten my day
Then I know that your ok
Times are hard
And so much on your mind
Sometimes it makes you blind

With all I have
I need you to know
That no matter what its ok to let go
Here for you at any time
With all your friends
You will be just fine
And in time
I hope you will be mine

Testing the Waters
Posted: 4/6/2006 9:58:56 AM
Just thought to see what kind of reality I'd find along this beach
as the vulchers fly high to avoid bands of roaming gulls
my mind drifts to other things
I look out over the water
feel the rhythm of the surf
the sand in my toes can irritate now and then
so I stroll in and out of the waves
washing my cares away

wish I could stay here forever
with no need to feed
no greed to bleed
and no time to remind me
your gone
its plain to see
this is my reality
sad but true
I miss you
like water misses the sea

with no destination
no investigation is needed
signs left unheeded
its all that I can do
to stroll within the blue
of this great lake
pull up my stakes
and wait for something new

So I watch the with an empty heart
as nature tears apart
the weak and the lame
in this survival game

Its not a revolution
birds can reflect without art
one death can feed many hearts
so there is hope inside the cries
tearing flesh from skinny thighs
roaming for pieces left behind
needing to find that thin line
so the kids can grow up to be strong
building up the tribe they belong
to the song of evolution

Wow, some beautiful poems in here. Here is one I wrote, one of the first ones. I have written many

Reflection in The Mirror

She looks in the mirror looking for her life
She sees a face that's survived much strife
A woman long mistreated
A lady that's been defeated

She sees a woman in need of Love
A soul looking to the Lord above
She sees no beauty, only drowning sadness
A spirit lost in all this madness

She looks away, no where to turn
She looks to no one, she's never heard
Can't look back, and the future is too bleak
She looks toward heaven, no further words to speak

Rich Man Blues

23 April 2006

There once was a girl
who was seeking a rich man
as to looking Nelson in the eye
Just to know what she could see
like she was damn well gunna try

High upon her tower of Trafalgar
much as to a column in a book
For was it a one-eyed view
such in being history read, she did look

Unknown and not sure
a starlit upon a stage to act
Not in being quiet or calm
but more so mad in attack

For whether or reign
those storms that did brew
Not to know, nor understand
words of amour in meaning true
