My kids' dad was named Bobbye and it sounds childish and has a feminine spelling so he insisted that I name our children adult sounding names. You can always have a nickname but need a good adult sounding name, especially if they are to become a professional adult. We all hope that they are adults for more years than they are children, so whatever you name them, just take into account that they have to live with this for the rest of their lives and they would probaly appreciat not having to spell or pronounce it for people for years to come.
