| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 1:29:01 PM | I agree, younger woman instinctively want tough guys for ****ing. And before one or two women say, "Well, I don't", let it suffice to say that the majority do. It's a genetic thing - just as guys want chicks with hot bods for the same purpose.
As far as Michael is concerned, with a hot car like that, he should be able to make up for not being so tough. However, in lieu of a Delorean, a tough guy can drive:
Ram 3500 Diesel pick up Chevy 3500 Pick up Ford F350 pick up
Whatever you do, Michael, do not drive a fuel-efficient car. That's the kiss of death.

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 1:59:35 PM | | I want a guy who is nice, sensitive, gives compliments, is kind, and is strong and masculine. I don't want a guy who doesn't care what others think (well, to a degree) and also one who is not needy (also to a degree). I'd like to think he needs me as much as I need him. I don't know any woman who wants a man to act like a total wimp. | |

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 2:05:03 PM | "Back on topic....It's true though. Being a **stard works much better. I hate being that way, but It's the only way that works. Women want nice guys for friends, not for boinking. It's primal instinct for mating and producing strong offspring. I think we fool ourselves with this intellectual justification."
Seems to me you're going after the wrong women. I think a guy who acts like a **stard is a repulsive jerk and I won't hesitate for one second to tell him as much. Why would any thinking woman want a man like that in her life?

I know that is the logical way of thinking, but it just doesn't work that way. Like I said, i hate being that way, and it is not natural for me, but the nicer I am to someone, the more i get shat upon. go figure?!

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 5:37:17 PM | I learned a while back not to **** and moan about the duplicitious, occasionally devious nature of the female gender. It only makes you sound like a little boy who hasn't learned how to do his own thing and not get upset when things don't go his way.
Don't let the other side get to you. Also, don't let the competition get to you. Sure, its easy to hate players out of spite or jealousy, but it doesn't make you look any better to the prospects.

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 5:48:22 PM | | mr bain A good post. Being duplicitious, occasionally devious is not something that the female gender has an exclusive on. I understand you're a man so you don't know about how men can be on dating sites, I wouldn't expect that. It's just a trait of people, really, and in any group, you will have a variety of all types. Honestly, there are a few women I've met or come across that do not make me proud of my gender, I'm sure that you have experienced the same. I personally to address another aspect of your posts do not consider dating or being on an internet dating site to be a competition. Just my personal viewpoint, not arguing with you. I'm here for whatever I'm here for and looking for I'm sure many are. It will be that one special person out of a multitude that will find me out of the thousands here, or I'll find him and there will be no competition involved, rather a discovery and an excitement that we do or can possibly have something between us that will be special and we would both want to pursue and develop. In the meantime, the players, and all the other stuff that is going on I tend to ignore or let it roll off. | |

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 6:11:41 PM | Hell i say it like it is! I am looking forward to meeting an honest, caring, independant, strong, loving (not overly though - blah) and non-commitment phobic guy.
I will gladly say "i would want my bf to act like a man who won't act like a total wimp!" in a matter of speaking...lol
The spineless do nothing for me..or for themselves for that matter! :-)

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 6:18:33 PM | Men are naturally better at figuring out puzzles, women just happen to be a puzzle we haven't concored yet! When I'm with a woman and she says, "stop please"...I stop...then when I talk to her online and she can't figure out why I stopped....that just bugs the heck outta me!....Why do women say "fine" when they're not, then they get mad because you actually believed them....It's one of those questions men will never be able to answer. We just have to continue learning our Mind-Reading skills or finally give in and admit to being wrong about everything they're too proud to admit. | |
|
| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 6:49:57 PM | | Ya see, the **** of the matter is that although us men are good with puzzles, most of the female puzzles are missing a few pieces. So, if you find yourself in a jam because you can't figure out what you're missing, just fill in the blanks with flowers, compliments and chocolate. | |

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 6:52:49 PM | | Woohaa..I think women are better at puzzles, like crosswords or jigsaw. Human beings are not puzzles if you're hung up on that, then god help you in the dating world. | |
|
| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 7:04:04 PM | I personally suck at puzzles, therefore I have a fully stocked warehouse of the previously mentioned goodies..When all else fails, I pray. I actually think a lot of women will say one thing and actually mean it. They want to see what kind of reaction they get from a man. If they don't get the proper reaction, THEN they decide they meant something else. | |
|
| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/5/2005 8:03:17 PM | | I'm good at puzzles after A LOT of practice. I took the LSAT and did great on the analytical reasoning section... even as I got killed on everything else. Solving puzzles is a skill you can acquire- in my case at the expense of a few other things. | |

Quoted for truth
Seriously bro. There's a lot of truth in here. Just don't get too caught up in what any woman wants until you get to know her and decide she's worth it.

HAhahaa...Libra's can't be repulsive jerks. Anyone with half a brain would see right through you. Nice try though.

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/6/2005 9:26:45 PM | | i would rather be told the truth than be lied to so if something is bothering you dont just say "IM FINE" because its total bullshit. I would rather the truth. I dont like lies. Women should just say what they mean. | |

I liked the way you stood up against that.."clownish troll".....for making fun of disabled people on another thread ...that alone says a lot about you Mc fly..youre a good person
I also know that your girl broke up with you....and was not truthful to you... and it hurts..... you know for sure not all women are like that..... I am twice your age and have lived through my share of heartbreaks..... for the sake of our sanity we must let go and MOVE ON ...trust me..
So shoulders back ,chin up and smile...

| Why do women say one thing and mean another Posted: 9/7/2005 1:25:04 AM | | I'll give you the answer a stripper gave me once. Women want confidence in a man more than anything else. Confidence is extremely sexy to women. Guys who are jerks more often come across as confident then nice guys do. Nice guys tend to come across as wimps without any self-confidence. | |
